Kicked from match, can't rejoin it and after 2 1/2 hours still stuck with "match in progress"

Now I don't really know how this happened so I'm gonna describe what happened in a bit more detail. I was playing on blue lane as Billy with a Mirage against a Mina and Grey Talon. Everything was going ok so far for the first 5 mins or so. Few fights, 2 deaths and just below 5k souls. Just got Lifestrike after a death via taking 3 souls in spawn and came onto the lane without zipline boost, starting a fight relatively quickly and then got thrown back into the lobby while fighting Mina. I sadly can't recall what inputs I made in the fight, apologies. After I got thrown into the lobby, I tried multiple times to reconnect and it didn't work. The loading screen appeared, the lobby music stopped and then I was right back in the lobby as if I just completed a game. I restarted the game multiple times, same issue. I restarted my PC multiple times, same issue. Now I've waited for about 2 1/2 hours for the game to supposedly end, but I'm still stuck with the "match in progress" and buttons to rejoin or abandon. I didn't try abandoning yet to avoid a penalty and am hoping for this to resolve itself somehow. I'll try playing again in the next few days and I'll give an update to what happens. The game doesn't show up in my match history, so I sadly don't have an ID.
