Kane

Background: Kane is a feared and well known hired hitman of a wealthy secret society that runs Cursed Apple that Vindicta is a part of. He is also Vindicta's mentor and taught her everything about being a cold blood killer. In order to continue to be effective and efficient in taking down target he has tinkered and modified his own body parts and replaced them with weapons like a three bladed razor around his waist or his cable wires that is stored inside his stomach that acts as his mobility tool to swiftly kill targets.

Gameplay: Kane is a very mobile assassin who likes to get close to his targets and maneuver around them which compensates for his lack of ranged abilities.

Gun: It's similar to Paradox's gun. (Disclaimer image not mine)

Abilities:

Spin blade
: Extends the modified razor blades around his waist and does a spin that deals damage and reduces the target’s bullet and spirit resistance nearby.

Kill contract upgrade: Spin continuously until the contract expires.

  • Add a movement slow
  • Increase spirit damage and gain bonus health for every enemy hit
  • Adds a silence

Swift Wire (Has charges): Shoots a cabled wire to his direction that attaches to any wall or obstacle and pulls him afterwards.

Kill contract upgrade: Stun enemies along the path

  • +1 charge
  • Reduce cooldown
  • Deals bleeding damage for any enemies that are hit along the path.

Frenzy (Passive): Kane gains movement speed and bonus spirit damage to his bullets when there are enemies that are low hp within a 40m radius.

Kill contract upgrade: Gain bonus 30% fire rate

  • Increase the radius
  • Increase hp threshold that this ability will need to activate.
  • All bonus stat increases for each enemy that is low nearby.


Kill contract: Activate to start a countdown to finish his kill contract and all of his abilities get a unique upgrade until the timer expires. Kane will lose 25% hp if he fails to kill anyone.

  • Increase duration to his kill contract timer
  • Reduce cooldown
  • Every enemy hero that he kills refreshes all of his ability cooldown.
 
I actually like his ultimate and how it interacts with his other abilities. If his kit is gonna encourage him to be aggressive and punish him if he's not, I reckon he needs to be rewarded for getting a kill or assist, kinda like how Vindicta gets bonus gold if she kills people with her ult.

In league of legends, there's a hero/champion named Kindred who marks enemies on the map and gains ability bonuses and bonus range after she kills a marked target. I reckon it'd be interesting if his abilities worked in a similar way in that his abilities scales with his contract kills. Which would have to mean that his abilities need to be initially trash for the sake of balance, if you want to pursue this idea

Funny thing is bonus souls and refresh cd after every kill was supposed to be in his basic ult but I remove and put them to upgrades and somehow I forgot to put bonus souls back. I really like your idea that abilities scale or gain additional unique bonuses for every kills but the refresh cd and the bonus soul for every kills is fair and are already great rewards for being aggressive and getting kills. I appreciate the feedback.

As long as he's getting rewarded. As is, it seemed unfair that he would get punished for not getting a kill while using his ult, but get the same reward as everyone else if he got a contract kill. But you can't go wrong with bonus gold :)
