Personal Note: These are pretty rough drafts but i feel like this idea as a whole has some meat to it. I would love to be a designer a character designer someday. any ideas or criticism is appreciated. I would love to draw up some stuff but I'm pretty detached for being artistic. Let me know if you're interested and maybe we can work together to bring the vision alive.
Jailbird/ Jailer
Appearance: A built man with a pigeon head and some decorative feathers poking out of clothes. Wearing a ruffed up jumpsuit from consecutive successful maximum security escapes. (Maybe has spirit prosthetics (Wings?) and real hands are still cuffed.)
Ability 1: Cuffed
Passive:
Jailbirds fire rate is locked. Fire rate is converted to "Watchful Eyes" bird travel speed.
Active:
Jailbird throw a pair of cuffs. Upon striking a hero, the cuffs extend (X) meters past the hero. If another hero is struck the two are tethered within (X) meters for 3 seconds. If only 1 hero is hit the cuffs disarm after they snap back.
Ability 2: Watchful Eyes
Passive:
At locked points on the map birds are perched that relay information - enemy hero position without identity. Perch spots and bird count increase with match duration. Initial at 5 min. Increases every 10 thereafter.
Active:
After landing 5 attacks within (X) seconds, the stacks can be consumed for true sight (through walls) of the enemy provided by the perched birds. The closest perched bird leaves and stays with the enemy for 5 seconds. Travel time of the birds is modified by fire rate. If the closest bird is traveling, the next closest comes.
Ability 3: Pruno Bomb
Toss an unknown concoction that rallies allies with fire rate and movement speed. Enemies are slowed and have delayed stamina regeneration.
"An acquired taste"/ "Don't go blind on me!"
Ability 4: Birdcage
Jailbird slam a bird cage on the ground, invoking a giant spirit hand to hover a giant birdcage above the battleground. After 5 seconds or upon reactivation, the birdcage slams into the ground trapping all heroes within the walls for 5 seconds. During the channel the Jailbird is locked in place and the camera zooms out and the hand/ birdcage are controlled. Caged heroes cannot interact with those outside.
"Sing of Freedom!" alerts all within range of the ult, regardless of vision.
Pretty jumbled about the weapon, interested in thin shivs being tossed, or maybe feathers. Feel like it would be a little too similar to existing weapons. Maybe a stolen weapon during escape could befit a little more personality. With the slow fire rate maybe and older modeled hunting rifle.
Note: I feel like this concept would work pretty well with a "dirty cop" character.
