Ivy's Background is Incorrect

They are not a gargoyle, they are a grotesque. Unless they have some kind of water downspout type ability or a pipe running through their body and out their mouth so that water can easily travel through them, their background is incorrect. I have included an image I made to help prove my point. I hope that this gets corrected soon.

Colloquially, which is generally preferred for casual and creative endeavours, especially in regards to mythology and folklore, gargoyle is correct. Especially since every work typically adapts whatever for their setting. There are tons of examples of that, including famous ones like orcs and goblins and satyrs and fauns.

You'd have more weight if this was a documentary instead of a game with its own unique setting.
 
Gargoyles don't need big drain pipes sticking out of their mouths so it's still possible Ivy really is a gargoyle.
