Ivy Ult Self Cast

I'm not able to self cast Ivy's ultimate and just carry a bomb when I have double tap for self cast mode. It only gives me the option to deselect. It lets me carry an ally fine, but I'm not able to solo fly. It let's me solo fly if I choose a different self cast mode. I currently have this ability keybound to my Mouse4 if that matters at all.
