THIS ^^^People will learn to play around it, it honestly isn't that strong. I think some people are attaching how strong it is to a farmed up Seven flying around. If the Seven isn't ahead, especially early, and you try this he will just be gunned down.
This actually is not a big deal. I do ult sometimes to farm some strong camps as beebop, so I think this is just smart usage of the ult, maybe? I'm not sure. But it is just to show to people that this ult is really strong utility.Oh, another cheesy thing Ivy can do. She can fly a person with the Urn to the urn delivery spot. THAT is a legitimate nerf reason. again sure you can stun her, but getting urn collected in 10-15 seconds is total bullshit. also provided she flies close enough to be stunned.
I mean most of this skills it needs either or both of two things: Range and the enemy being on ground (e.g. abbram ult, bebop uppercut, kinect pulse and ult from dynamo, infernus ult, mo krill ult). Which in fact is exactly what ivy's ult does, she can fly really high! So yeah... You can counter, that's not the issue here to me. The issue is the fact that it is too strong...THIS ^^^
I play a lot of Ivy, and in one game our Seven asked me to do this combo. I did. Haze instantly slept my ass. ROFL. Like... yeah, its powerful if you can pull it off in the right situation at the right time, but it is SO counterable that it HURTS. The fact that people think it needs a nerf are showing their ignorance of the game and its mechanics. Ivy's ult is stopped by:
Abram's Ult
Bebop Uppercut AND his Pull
Dynamo Kinetic Pulse and his Ult
Grey Talon Ult
Haze Sleep Dagger
Infernus Ult
Lash Ult
McGinnis' upgraded Spectral Wall
Mo and Krill Ult
Warden Binding Word
Wraith Telekinesis
Plus a bunch of items.

Curse is another good alternative to seven but with flying it made it hard to get in rangePresses 4 twice and wins the game. People here know that knockdown has a 3 second delay and in 3 seconds they are all almost dead right?
90% of the 'counters' being ultimates, the rest, items that have a minimum distance and projectile travel time/built in delay. games #1 flaw is lack of coordination. and games being 4/2 tank/dps vs 1/5 tank/dps. i guess if you get into a game with abrams, geist, vindicta, m&k, viscous and mcginnis vs haze, ivy, seven, X, y, z, the solution must be just lose. cause aint no way that game will be salvaged. either that or pray M&K can ult them in time.It's a skill issue, half the cast counters this as well as a bunch of items too. But I do not expect my teams that never look at the map or ult track to know that .

Only solution i see is pick phases where you pick from your list of whitelisted heroes pre game and lock in, cause dying in an eye blink while curse flies after/knockdown winds up, and is outsped, by ivy and co just aint it.
Ult for Ult is not an issue. The issue is the lack of an interrupt that can actually catch the mach speed ivy + passenger. By the time you're in range to use those items, your health is half gone. Losing 2 flex slots to knockdown/curse & ethereal shift ain't it. Talon using bird to counter vaporizes provided he isn't near the action. Mo n krill cant jump that much (EDIT: Disarm doesnt stop haze from doing the breakdance of her life, nvm). Bebop just repositions enemies, not interrupt them so hook/melee isn't an actual counter. Mcginnis doesn't build walls that high. Abrams has to aim for a sky target with a ground targeter, lol, lmao even.Oh no. Needing an ult to counter an ult! The... the horror!
