It's not a bug, it's a feature - reporting system!

Valve please consider following:

  1. unfortunately even in beta community already contains a lot of "non competitive" players with loads of issues main ones being - inability to take feedback and communicate normally to other human beings
  2. current reporting system seems to be automated aka looks at reports per games played -> make automated decision to penalize someone when threshold is exceeded = not a new thing and being abused in many games by people mentioned in point 1. Overwatch in my experience tops the list aka crying kids will get you banned as soon as you use voicechat or it will take a bit longer even if you don't because Lose = other players doing something wrong, need to report them all
  3. imo game is developed so that communication between 6 people is a key thing -> current system penalizes players who call things out, including mistakes or even just make calls about their plans that still triggers people in point 1 -> people using comms get muted and/or put in low priority matchmaking constantly (so far in <300h I have been muted 3 times longest for more than a week and put in ban (unable to play) for 3 days adding to that 3 times put in low priority games)

Please don't finetune system to tailor people with low ego, IQ! Or at least don't make it easy for them to get people like me - totally team oriented, competitive, that will call things out including mistakes GIVING SOLUTIONS not just saying "you bad".

Thanks!

you tell on yourself several times. games are games, you getting worked up over a not even beta version. i take it serriously as well but just keep it to yourself. goes a long way better

This is debatable overall.

And most importantly what is happening over and over again be it Apex legends, Valorant or Deadlock (games I have recently played the most and a lot... A LOT) -> people will get triggered by your voice coms no matter the context. I have heard so far like million times phrase that indicates that "stop talking so much" :) and those people keep reporting me -> given in most cases actual voice is not reviewed, I keep getting flagged and banned for "comms abuse" which in reality is just "comms use!".

Adding to that it is insanely unfair system is e.g. I call out "please defend green" -> get instant reply in chat or voice "stfu" -> I get flagged and muted, most of the times people who "stfu" me get only one report from me = do not get mass reported because using comms is abuse while saying "stfu" is norm these days = abusers don't get muted or get muted but less often aka number's game.

Was unmuted for 1 day, had 3 games where teammates slured on me for doing comms, trying to win, eventually I told some of them some shit back and as some of them were feeding I did not try either.

Outcome - less than in 24h banned to low priority queue twice!!!! in one day and muted for 16 days.

Really cool thing you having here Valve!

Will see how much longer I will be able to tolerate this bs. My feeling - not too long, this is coming to Overwatch level (did quit after less than a week and NEVER looked or will look back).

Learned today that you can look up people in steam and actually see comments on their profile regarding hacking accusations -> reported 3 clearly hacking people mostly auto-parry, in some cases radar -> Valve rewarded me with 1 day ban on reporting instantly.

Fuck you brainless people who invented this system, you are freaks of financial system or god knows what is moving your motivation, but it is for sure not to deliver game for competitive shooter community that wants to see it clean from hackers.

Fucking disgusting!
