the items all look way too similar and texture less.
looking in the base shop or at builds is like looking at a colour themed blur and i think the items should be altered to either be more like league where they have specific item looks or just diversify the symbols since most are just heart shapes or bullet symbols

agreed, it's strange to me why items are just icons and not actually items

Yoshi has said the current item icons are placeholders and they'll have actual item art at some point.
