So I understand we are in an early stage of the game, however I believe the item art should be completely changed, when I look at the items, I only have the feeling of stagnation. My example of great concept art is what paragon from epic games had, although they were cards and felt less traditional than what Dota or League had, they were much more visually appetizing and provided a much better feeling when buying items, sort of like...the feeling a person who collects sneakers or hats feel when they purchase something they are passionate about.
Unique item art will make a game feel more refreshing too when a new item is dropped by the devs and not just a colored block with gun on it. I understand art is something that is usually not the priority but for a game like this, it will add more life and vibrance to the builds players make.
