Is my friends ranked bugged?

My friends account name is Dr Pepper and he has gone 28-6 in his last games played and has barely gone up in ranked compared to the other people in the friend group its not like hes bottom fragging every game and being sorted by low stats so im really not sure why he isnt ranking up more? could this be a bug?

i originally thought it was because he didnt have enough solo games but he then played by himself continued winning and still was barely ranking up

he is consistently playing in higher mmr lobbies and winning when we duo while not bottom fragging and is also barely ranking up

hes 145-92 total lifetime and is alchemist 3

does he play solo or with a duo-trio? the game is weird about solo q mmr. in that it seems like your rank doesnt fucking budge

It's broken. I recommend not logging into the game for 30 days, then it will increase. Please write the same thing in my thread... maybe the developers will wake up!

That didn't work for me. I'm still in Obscurus.
