It's still an ability. It makes perfect sense why disarm doesn't affect abilities.Disarm currently does not affect Bullet Dance. Which is weird, because Bullet Dance claims to be 'firing your weapon'. But this has been around for a while- I believe it's intentional? I'm not certain.
I'm aware of this enough that I will intentionally push Bullet Dance while Disarmed as Haze, and will look for a hostile Haze's Bullet Dance when I'm trying to use Disarm against Haze.
It's an ability which 'fires your weapon'! Disarm doesn't actually say that it prevents the target from firing their weapon, but that's about what I'd expect it to do. Kinetic Carbine is prevented from being fired by Disarm, and it's also an Ability. It's still an ability. It makes perfect sense why disarm doesn't affect abilities.
Comparing carbine (which is considered an alt fire) to bullet dance (an aoe ability that doesn't interact with primary fire at all) is like comparing apples to oranges. This is just a specific exception carved out for Bullet Dance. I think it's fine as a thing to exist, but I also think it's not surprising that it's getting bug reported.
...I'm under the impression that it's a mechanical description, not flavor text. It's, uh, bolded like it's mechanically important. And it is mechanically important- Bullet Dance applies on-hit effects, uses Haze's gun damage and firerate, and is otherwise 'firing your weapon' for most mechanical purposes with the exception of Disarm, for some strange reason.Comparing carbine (which is considered an alt fire) to bullet dance (an aoe ability that doesn't interact with primary fire at all) is like comparing apples to oranges. Thats dumb, it should effect abilites cause that haze's whole dealIt's still an ability. It makes perfect sense why disarm doesn't affect abilities.
It is interacting with primary fire. All of the BULLET effects are introduced in her ult. Her bullets are stopped by Paradox wall, her bullets are saving their effects from primary fire etc. The problem is you don’t need to “fire” a bullet with your mouse while ulting, that’s why disarm isn’t working with Bullet Dance. And, as I said in my latest comment, if disarming hex will apply -100% fire rate instead of “Disarmed status effect”, it should work.Comparing carbine (which is considered an alt fire) to bullet dance (an aoe ability that doesn't interact with primary fire at all) is like comparing apples to oranges. I 100% agree but this is the interaction with every gun-based ability. Bullet Dance, Assassinate, Charged Shot all work this way even though the literal firing of the weapon is the ability.Thats dumb, it should effect abilites cause that haze's whole deal
Ability text (i.e. Mo 3) is objectively not flavor text.Stop treating flavor text literally.
