Sometimes my investment bar shows zero investment when I have bought items of that type. See bottom left of this screenshot:

the bug i experience tends to do the opposite.
e.g. i will suddenly get a full purple bar when i have bought 0 purple items.
this usually happens when "someone" is spectating the match.
i suspect it's a dev/mod/admin actually toying with individuals to tease out interaction data feedback for balancing purposes.
if it's a not a bug - it's a scum move and feels awful.
