Just in time for Halloween!
A Fate's Tale;
Stories come and go.
Parents giving their children a warning to not be naughty, or whatever monster the parents decided would be tonight's boogeyman would come and eat them in their sleep.
One of these monsters was the fabled Headless Horseman. A being who was said to be searching for his lost head; And would tear you apart in hopes it was somewhere in your chest cavity if need be.
However, these stories became something far, far too real when the Maelstrom hit, and the Horseman began to walk the earth. And as the stories said, he looked and looked for his head.
From the dump, to the hills, to the mountains, and even in the bodies of those that tried to stop him.
Eventually, the Horseman felt himself called the the Cursed Apple; And the Ritual. Now, he fights in silence, to hopefully summon the patron; And finally get his head back.
