The newly added low ceiling detection (not mentioned in patch notes) prevents the player from walljumping in areas with low ceilings.
This is an issue, as walljumping to rapidly move away from the wall is a very common move in raw aim duels in a spot like this. With the current system walljumping in these spots is very unresponsive, as the player has to wait till they slide low enough on the wall to pass the low ceiling detection.
This problemm was caused by no longer requiring a directional input to WJ (this change came back in April). Reverting that, as in once again requiring a directional input to perform a WJ, would completely solve this issue without taking controls away from the player (which in the long run makes the movement feel stiff and unresponsive).
