In sandbox fullscreen mode minimizing and maximizing makes it impossible for hits to register for 8 seconds

I recently put my game from borderless windowed into fullscreen mode and I've noticed every single time I minimize the game and then maximize it my shots do not hit anything for at least 5-8 seconds. Can't hit enemies or souls. Nothing. This seems to only effect sandbox mode thankfully but is annoying. I'd recommend just using borderless windowed for now. It also messes up the character model as well for 10 seconds where it doesn't animate.
