Illusionist - Illusion Farming Hero, Rival to Sinclair, mad that sinclair stole savannah bc they used to date. previous business partners.
Many of his abilities spawn illusions that can have a basic AI that can farm, shoot enemies. Though they don't chase very far and have much fewer HP. Take 2x more damage from heavy melee / gun damage but have stronger spirit resistance. Fighting illusions will also target the enemy that the real one is hitting as long as they are in range. If no enemies in range, illusions follow illusionist. Illusions have a much better gun than illusionist that have higher firerate. Illusions can secure soul orbs. Illusions will punch sinners sacrifice but cannot complete them and probably die to the damage lol.
illusions duration will increase with spirit power
Illusions will only follow you if they have line of sight for a little bit. If you completely block line of sight they stop.
Ability 1: Creep Curse
Apply a curse to a creep, plays a large sound and shows indicator on it, starting a countodwn. If the creep is killed during this time, it will give 150% of soul count (50% more) and spawn. If countdown expires and creep survives, give only the 100% value of it to Illusionist, with amount decreasing the further away he is at time of activation. Once this creep is killed it will spawn an illusion that farms and fights.
Use this to farm your own jungle more effectively and sabotage enemy jungle that you don't have time to farm. The idea is you wanna kill it within cooldown if its in your jungle but dont kill it if its in enemy jungle
Upgrade 1: Give 200% soul count if creep killed during countdown
Upgrade 2: Upgrade illusion that spawns when killed during countdown, doing double damage to NPCs
Upgrade 3: when creep killed after countdown, replace creep with a perfect replica that periodically makes a unique sound. When killed, give 100% souls again to illusionist which decreases over time and send a buffed illusion that heavy melees any enemies then turns to a fighting illusion
Ability 2: Illusion punch:
Sends out an illusion that does a heavy melee punch then acts as a fighting illusion. If it gets parried it stuns BOTH illusionist and the
upgrade 1: casting alt cast will instead make it do a parry
upgrade 2: If illusion gets parried, simply expire it not proccing its death, no longer stuns illusionist (very good if u are using the first ability since u can get randomly parried across the map when illusion from creep camp punches)
upgrade 3: illusion punch will now proc items such as crushing fists, life strike etc. All bonuses go towards illusionist
Ability 3 (passive) Illusions
This is to upgrade any illusions spawned by his abilities
Upgrade 1: Double health of illusions
Upgrade 2: Increase duration before expire
Upgrade 3: When being dealt significant damage, turn stealthed and spawn an illusion. If ANY illusion dies receive a small barrier , movespeed and weapon damage and greatly reduce cooldown of this (if AoE kills at same time on cooldown only spawns one etc). Diminishing returns for each illusion killed. Deaths from NPCs give half of the buffs value and duration.
Ultimate: The Great Escape
Turn ethereal and invisible for a short period before a ring of 5 other illusions spawns around in a hexagon. When channel ends you will spawn in direction you were facing, with illusions around you. Illusions spawned from this temporarily are forced to dash in the direction they are facing and move forward, not attacking or anything.
Each illusion has a different AI when near player enemies, two of them will try to run away from player enemies whilst other 3 will fight. The two that run away will always be next to you. The ones will always move towards direction you are facing but if gets too close to enemy player (within heavy melee distance) will go directly opposite away from them
Upgrade 1: Reduce cooldown
Upgrade 2: Spawns 11 illusions instead of 5, now spawns 2 scared AIs directly next to you and 3 directly behind you, rest are fighting ones
Upgrade 3: When spawning, deal an explosion on each illusion and you that deals spirit damage, slows movement and firerate. Your explosion has double the effects but same damage, only at most 2 explosions can stack on same hero with improved ability range etc
Gun: very weak, low fire rate.
very low HP given his great escape potential
tier 2 bucket move speed
above average hitbox and head hitbox size
Tech: spawn illusions near objective, purposefully get them killed in order to tank damage and spawn new one to give buff from tier 3 illusion upgrade
place illusion near things that emit soul orbs so it can secure it (won't be OP cus remember they follow you around so you cant just put it in the base soul spawner the entire game, really good for securing / denying urn souls)
get an ally support to rescue beam one of the illusions in order to bait them out
purposefully put illusions inside enemy AoE damage like alchemical fire or infernus burn to kill them and give u insane buffs
put the punching illusion to parry urn, heavy melees, buffs, rejuv spawning.
Put an illusion on the camps, block line of sight then go take the lane.
He will be insane at farming and denying farm
