The slide passive is very similar to viper no?
It’s similar, but still different — just as other heroes share similar abilities, such as throwing bombs or throwing knives. Having elements in common doesn’t mean the ability is identical, especially if it has differences in function, application, or purpose.

The base version is the same, you have an improved slide, but the upgrades are totally different, instead of +stamina you gain +stamina recovery, instead of resistance you gain life steal and instead of +slide distance you gain additional spiritual damage.
 
I like Viper's gameplay of sliding and being an agile Hero with a lot of stamina, but I hate all of his abilities, that's why this suggestion of a new hero with the same theme of constantly sliding, since we don't have any other hero with this gameplay style while other styles like throwing knives or bombs have several heroes that do the same thing, so we could have another hero focused on sliding.
