Idea - Marionette The Puppeteer

Okay! So I've seen a bunch of possessed puppet ideas on the forum and I would like to make my own version of one as well because I do see it as a fit to Deadlock.

Marionette - The Puppeteer
Marionette was once a beloved puppet used in street performances to entertain the people of NYC. Crafted by a master puppeteer, she moved gracefully and performed wondrous shows, until one night, her creator mysteriously vanished. Left alone in the dark, Marionette's strings were cut, and she was cast into the shadows. A vengeful spirit seeking revenge possessed her body, turning the puppet into a terrifying entity. Now, by the spirit's malevolent will, Marionette roams the city with sinister intentions.

Playstyle: Controller / Support - She has a lot of debuff and smaller stuns that can be dangerous in both team fights and 1v1. She is more squishy than other heroes so even if you get captured you still have a fighting chance. Stun removers / debuff removers are her base counters.

Weapon:

  • Primary Fire: Launches sharp ghostly needles in a straight line.
    • DPS: 58
    • Ammo: 20
    • Bullets per Second: 6.8

  • Secondary Fire: Shoots a heavier, single projectile (a ghostly puppet limb or ghostly little puppet).
    • DPS: 70
    • Ammo: 8
    • Bullets per Second: 1.8


Ability 1: Puppet Scream

  • Description: Marionette lets out an eerie scream in a cone in front of them, affecting all enemies caught within the range. Enemies hit by the scream have their Spirit Resist decreased for a short duration.
    • Spirit Resist Reduction: 15%
    • Duration: 4 seconds
    • Cone Range: 10 meters
    • Cooldown: 18 seconds
  • AP1: Increases the cone range to 15 meters.
  • AP2: Reduces Bullet Resist by 15% for the duration.
  • AP5: Enemies hit are slowed by 30% for 3 seconds.

Ability 2: Possession Surge

  • Description: Marionette Sends out a ghostly projection of a puppet. If it hits an enemy, after a 3-second delay, the target becomes stunned and is held in place by puppet strings. (Instead of Warden's ability you have to be hit by a "projectile" for the ability to work, so you could miss and put the ability on cooldown)
    • Damage: 50 Spirit Damage
    • Range: 15 meters
    • Stun Duration: 2 seconds (after 3-second delay)
    • Cooldown: 18 seconds
  • AP1: Stun duration increased by 1 second.
  • AP2: Weakened resistances increased to -20%.
  • AP5: Puppet projection can hit a second enemy after the first target is hit. (Will auto attack nearest enemy)

Ability 3: Puppet Dance

  • Description: Marionette summons a puppet that performs a haunting dance in an area, dealing small AoE damage and slowing enemies.
    • Damage: 40 Spirit Damage per second
    • Radius: 10 meters
    • Slow Effect: 20% slow
    • Duration: 5 seconds
    • Cooldown: 25 seconds
  • Upgrade 1 (AP1): Increases AoE radius to 14 meters.
  • Upgrade 2 (AP2): Increases damage to 60 Spirit Damage per second.
  • Upgrade 3 (AP5): Reduces cooldown by 5 seconds.

Ultimate: Master's Command

  • Description: Marionette performs her former puppeteers show dance for 2 seconds, then all enemies within a large radius are immobilized by puppet strings, unable to move or perform actions for 4 seconds.
    • Immobilize Duration: 4 seconds
    • Radius: 15 meters
    • Cooldown: 120 seconds
  • Upgrade 1 (AP1): Increases the AoE radius by 5 meters.
  • Upgrade 2 (AP2): Reduces cooldown by 20 seconds.
  • Upgrade 3 (AP5): Immobilize AoE increases by an additional 3 meters.

I would love this ultimate to be a single target lasso where you actually take control of their character and there is some sort of large like a green puppet string thing above their head to indicate to your team that they're being taken control of.
