Ice Dome Blocks Melee Damage to Patron when Patron is Still Shoot-Damage Able

Kelvin can drop an ice dome that intersects the weakened patron. It blocks melee damage, but there are still sections of the patron that are shootable. If I had to wager a guess, it blocks "enough" of the patron, or the patron's center of mass, causing the issue.
