im not a new player to moba games but new to deadlock. im looking to get a hang of the game and i do that by picking one character i really like and going into bot matches to practice so i dont feed in actual matches. it was late for me so i picked easy standard bot match and did well in lane, but the other lanes were struggling. "no problem, i'll just go teamfight and practice", i thought. but i was struggling to make any progress. thats when i looked at the scoreboard and none of the bots on my team except for one was buying items. then i would just slowly descend into despair as i get one pick off, the rest of the enemies run, my bot allies chase and die due to lack of items, and proceed to not buy items.
i wasted 38 minutes and i did not learn anything i havent known other than the fact that these bots are useless. please pay attention to the bot modes bc some of us have really bad anxiety when it comes to learning new mobas and this failed to incentivize me to keep playing the game. an easy bot match should be an easy win so i can get used to the buttons and feel good about myself when i take objectives and the game. so disappointed
