I do not like the Hidden King as much as the Amber Hand VA

How do I put this as nicely as I can? He doesn't have the swag of the Amber hand in my opinion. That's not to say The Hidden King is bad bad but it shines a whole new perspective for the world Deadlock is trying to establish.

I always felt the Amber hand was a corrupt and capitalist form of power. Giving a very “Old Money” bravado, one that says “I have run this game for as long as you can imagine". Able to lure you in for the promise of riches and power, but is also capable of tricking you and spoke to the deepest desires of the characters in the game. One line that always stuck out was The Amber Hand telling Vyper that she is beautiful. Think the bad guys from Sin City or The Most Dangerous Game. The Amber hand reminds me of an old fashion on a cold winter night.

While the Hidden King, as far as I am aware, is this ancient demonic spirit, which has plagued the land of the world for eons, a bit more pagan seeming and speaks more to the characters as pawns. Think Sauron from Lord of the Rings or Satan. It reminds me of a Dark and Stormy on a rainy day.

While both are good, I have to admit the sound and lines from the Amber hand seemed to fit with the noir NY occult vibe more than the Hidden King. Now that may be because the Hidden king is so new and may need to grow on me as time goes on. But I am not going to lie, it's a bit shocking that we may leave the Amber hand in the dustbin of Deadlocks final design.

A possible solution. It would be cool if the Patron you were defending was randomized maybe and they would rotate between more than just the 2 that we have now. Imagine their being as many Patrons as there are cores from Portal, I don't care who I am fighting for as far as patrons go but dam, the Amber Hand just needs to come back in some way. I loved that dude and made the world of Deadlock feel more connected with its potential occult American history.
