I cannot pet the cat :(

I want to pet the cat but i cant
also side note if you push the green ball through a doortal when it comes out the other end it will have a smaller hitbox than before.
anyway i really want to pet the cat. Is there a dog anywhere i can pet too?
also how many chairs can i sit in?
