I wanted to design a character based off hysteria, madness, and being haunted, so i threw together a kit. I dont really have images of what I would want the character to look like, as im unsure of the visual design. Just putting him in a straight jacket might be too close to sevens current design, but i think the real magic would be done on his poses and animations to make him look insane.
Lore:
Silas Vance, once a carefree soul basking in the Georgia sunshine, had it all. A smooth glide through high school and college, a beautiful wife by his side, a stable job, and a cozy home for their growing family. But the idyllic picture shattered during the Great Awakening.
One unsettling night, a rustle from downstairs shattered the peace. Silas, heart pounding, crept down to investigate. There, bathed in an unnatural glow, stood a spectral figure. Panic surged, his hands instinctively flying up to ward off the unknown. A beat of terrifying silence followed, then, to his utter disbelief, the figure mimicked his pose. Tentatively, Silas reached out. His hand met an icy touch, followed by a searing pain that ripped through him. He collapsed, visions assaulting his mind – visions of his life twisted into nightmarish parodies.
When his wife awoke, she saw the hollow shell where her vibrant husband once resided. Weeks bled into months as she desperately tried to pull him back. But the darkness had taken root. Broken, she made the agonizing decision to commit him to an asylum.
There, in the sterile confines of his cell, Silas found a chilling solace. Whispers promised him escape. He clung to them, waiting, enduring, until the fateful night. The voices spoke, promises weaving through the bars, manipulating the guards. Silas walked free, a changed man.
He realized the madness wasn't just a curse; it was a grim power. The voices commanded him to New York, to find the "patrons." A message, they insisted, needed to be spread, a message for all to hear.
Abilities
Leashing Voices: Silas screams at an enemy, silencing them for a short duration and dealing damage.
Echo Chamber: Silas begins wailing, dealing damage to enemies in an AoE around him.
Haunting Chorus: Silas releases a wave of energy in front of him, fearing and damaging enemies.
Collective Psychosis: Silas channels a blast at his current location, which allows enemies to damage their teammates. Enemies affected see friend and foe as distorted creatures, and are unable to tell them apart.
