tl;dr I noticed that, despite being Ascendant, I have ranked up several times from matches that were placed in Oracle.
I was put in high Oracle games because I was queueing with an Obscurus friend, and I guess the matchmaker found that to be the middle ground. There's a huge rank disparity here, I have been pretty much walking all over Oracles and it's not fun for either party. I believe that ideally, the game should aim for the highest ranked player's MMR, or at least a balanced mix in a queue that DOESN'T affect rank.
The BIGGEST issue here is that I am RANKING up in ASCENDANT, specifically from Ascendant 1 to 5 so far, from Oracle-average games. This should absolutely not happen, this is an insane form of cheesing the ranking system.
