You can use abilities while you're still transitioning to holding the rope.
For Ivy, if you grab onto rope while in stone form, you'll be unable to strafe, jump, use abilities, etc. Only move up and down and shoot, as if you're still holding onto a rope. This persists until you die or dash.
Wraith has the same problem if she does a mid air teleport.
Shiv has a similar problem when jumping onto someone with his ult, but he can also jump out.
Yamato can SPIN while on the rope, but she can jump out.
Abrams can charge indefinitely while on the rope, dragging people around with him.
Vindicta can shoot while moving around rope if she's activated flight. Surprisingly, Grey Talon can't! However he, unlike Vindicta, can extend the duration of his flight (and multishot) on a rope.
