I completed the basics of the Hero Training, and then went to kill the Guardian since I bought enough upgrades to make me powerful enough to kill it. Upon doing so, the game paused, and after pressing P to unpause, my game was stuck at 1. Retrying this process continues to fail at 1. This did not occur a second time after I left and reentered Hero Training to see if I could replicate, but since I didn't receive 25000 or so souls the second time, I was unable to confirm if that may have been the issue.
