"It's a sin to be rich, it's a low-down shame to be poor."

Lore: Johnathan Benjamin Goode is a pioneer of the Blues with an incurable case of it. The son of a slave, Old Man John lived 16 years of his childhood in toil and misery before abandoning his family's failing sharecropper farm for a life on the road. Despite his expectations, he soon found himself even further down on his luck, jobless and penniless at a Georgia crossroad with only the clothes on his back and a poorly tuned guitar he won in a dice game. There he was offered a deal with the devil.

He signed away his soul for fame and fortune without a second of hesitation.

The sleek, horned stranger granted him uncanny musical talent and powerful magics to make his name across the US. Within days, Johnny “Guitar” Goode was known from Jacksonville to Kansas City for his intense, electric style of the Blues, but unfortunately for him, it never got much further. He soon learned that the devil he sold his soul to was merely an ixian music producer, but the deal was very much real. Johnny was far from the only man with the Blues, men with sadder stories, men who were far more handsome, men who were better at working a crowd, men willing to work for pennies on the dollar, men who far more marketable, men who would become far richer and more famous than Johnny using the music he wrote.

His contract was iron clad and the binding ward on him was unbreakable, if he so much as hummed, the tune was mystically recorded was legally the label’s property. Even his enraged, often drunken raving and threats against his black hearted producer ended up packaged, stamped, sealed, and sold as what is now Billy’s favorite album. Caught between a rock and a hard place, his choices were to abandon music forever and lose his only meal ticket or endure the shame to afford the rent while others made millions. For the next 45 years, he would flip flop between both options, but with Patrons arriving in New York, he’s looking to make another deal with the devil to claim what he’s owed.

Weapon: Sweet Chariot - Guitar used as a magical conduit, regular shots fire large projectiles with decent range that pierce through enemies. Alt-fire sustains the note, transforming the last projectile fired to make it constantly deal damage in a static AoE for as long as M2 is held. Sustained Notes deal spirit damage every 0.2 seconds and drain 6 ammo per second. Sustained notes will apply item effects just like regular shots and can pop soul orbs. Projectiles continue on their path once the hold ends, becoming a normal projectile again. Can still fire while holding. DPS: 58. Fire rate: 2. Ammo: 12+0.25 per spirit. Bullet Velocity: 34.2mps. Sustained Note DPS: 81. Sustained Note radius: 1.5m. Reload speed: 2.65s. Reload animation is Johnny retuning his guitar.

1 - Reverb: Fire a damaging pulse around yourself and all active projectiles, normal or sustained, dealing 35 (x1.675) spirit damage and knocking back. Enemies are knocked up if hit by 2 or more Reverbs going in opposing directions. Cooldown: 19. Charge cooldown: 5. Radius: 3m.
1- +1 charge
2- Reverb activates again after a 2 second delay for 40% damage. x0.1 radius per spirit

2 - Spiritual Music: Buff self and allies in an AoE, increasing spirit power by +10 (x0.2 spirit pre buff), but losing the ability to move or shoot normally. While channeling, all active projectiles become Sustained Notes and you may pull or push them toward your crosshair with M1 and M2 respectively. Can use other abilities while channeling. Space to cancel the channel. Max duration: 6s. Cooldown: 46. Radius: 10m. Sustained Note speed: 20% of bullet velocity.
1- +5 spirit bonus. Heal self by 20hp (x0.4 spirit) per second while channeling.
2- -12s cooldown. Passive: Sustained Notes grow in size over time, max of +35% radius over 4 seconds.
5- Full movement use. Sustained Note speed increased to 80% of bullet velocity. +20% spirit lifesteal while channeling.

3 - The Blues: Dealing Bullet or Spirit damage to an enemy applies a stacking debuff that reduces spirit power and movement speed. At max stacks, it detonates, applying the Low Down effect that silences and slows by 60% for 2 seconds. Applying a new stack refreshes the duration of previous stacks and refreshes Low Down’s duration.
Max stacks: 20. Stack duration: 2 seconds. Slow per stack: 3%. Spirit debuff per stack: 2.5%
1- Stacks also reduce stamina regen by 4% per stack and remove 1 max stamina on Low Down.
2- +1s stack and Low Down duration.
5- Low down deals 120(x0.3) spirit damage on activation and Low Down enemies take 12(x0.3) spirit damage when another stack of The Blues is applied.

4 - Smokestack Lightning - Release Phantom Train from your Patron that travels down a lane of your choice, dealing 300(x2 spirit) spirit damage to non-structure enemies, popping soul orbs, and instantly killing lane minions. Smokestack Lightning is tall enough to hit enemies on ziplines. Enemies killed by Smokestack Lightning instantly have their souls collected. Enemies are warned by spirit train tracks being laid out on the chosen lane and a mini-map indicator. Travel time: 16 seconds from Patron to Patron. Cooldown: 240.
1- Stuns for 1s and applies 20 stacks of The Blues to heroes hit.
2- Leaves electricity as it travels, that deals 10(x0.5) spirit damage every 0.5 seconds and disables enemy ziplines. Lasts 8 seconds.
5- +1 charge and -45s cooldown. Charge cooldown: 16. (Does not benefit from items that increase charges)
