Hero: Jacket the shapeshifting Poltergeist

Jacket is a skull in a crystal ball over a horizontal torso desk body. All float, the skull shoots lasers from its eyes (reload ducking headshots with a new ball from the desk) and the desk spin-melees

Slip: Mostly-uptime sneak around as a camouflaged rug revealed by damage. Activate from camo to add cooldown and catch enemies in a book-snap into desk spin

Hide: First point passive spawn on enemies within range (out of their line of sight) props that join your combat from a short range. Activate to imitate one and launch yourself for damage or, after some time stationary, channel (object sparks & shakes) to leave the imitation as an illusory trap

Coat: Riding their shoulder as the ball, turn yourself into a coat on another player to armor a far friend or stop-hitting-yourself and jockey a near enemy. Any enemy who trips a trap resets this ability's cooldown and and can have it cast on them from friend range without line of sight

Tangle: Haunt an enemy, circling them as an invulnerable nightmare trailing a snagging ribbon while hammers drop on their head

WDTY? C&C appreciated etc. I think it looks cool but would play flat and we all saw what happened to techies. Maybe as a map objective to unleash on your enemies or something seasonal

Crud, WDYT*
Desk also could instead be a chair with the ball floating where the head of one sitting would be. Map objective of fetching items from multiple lanes to open up a protected farm patch flows well (PC/NPC control swap ritual?)

Crap, last coat of paint:
Jacket is a skull in a crystal ball over a floating-also desk (alt: sitting at headheight in a balance-scaled throne). All float, the skull shoots lasers from its eyes and the desk spins or the throne kicks
Slip: Mostly-uptime sneak around as a camouflaged rug revealed by damage. From camo add cd and book-snap enemies into a spin (snap-up throne animation?)
Hide: Fpp enemies within range spawn props out of their line of sight. Within a short range these spin through the air to join you in combat. Activate to imitate one and launch yourself for damage or, after some time still, channel to leave it as an illusory trap
Coat: Riding their shoulder as the ball, armor a far friend or jockey a near enemy. Enemy trap trips grant a free cast of this & put you in combat with whoever triggered
Tangle: Haunt an enemy, distance-fixed strafing them as an invulnerable nightmare trailing a snagging ribbon while hammers drop on their head

I'll feed this 🤖
