Alternative name: Orbital
and yes, the name is a nod to Neon Prime. Because why not.
LORE:
The world watches in awe as nations push the boundaries of science, racing to put the first human beyond Earth's grasp. The space race is in full swing—headlines scream of triumphs and failures, of rockets piercing the heavens, of a future written in the stars. The public is enthralled. The clock is ticking.
But beneath the surface, hidden from history’s pages, lies a truth known only to a select few.
The United States is not chasing space. It has already been there.
Not with a man.
Not yet at least.
With something else.
In a secluded file room, buried beneath layers of secrecy, lies a classified dossier—its pages detailing an enigma unseen by history. Project PRIME: genetically engineered primates, forged not for Earth, but for the stars. Many members of the projects had died in various disasters and their stories erased forever. One whoever, succeeded and successfully made it to the final frontier.
While the world gazes skyward, dreaming of the day mankind will breach the final frontier, something else is already there. A silent precursor, drifting through the void, calculating trajectories, deciphering the universe’s secrets in complete isolation. An experiment without end. Forever staring into the abyss.
... (How did he get to New York and what does he want with the patrons?)

R PRIME/8 is a genetically engineered monkey and is the first creature to enter space as a member of the united states secret space program)
[ABILITY 1] Inertia Reservoir
COOLDOWN: LONG
Passive: PRIME/8 stores the kinetic energies of heroes around him; Any hero falling to the ground around PRIME/8 will cause the Inertia Reservoir of PRIME/8 to increase.
Active: PRIME/8 converts the stored kinetic energy into a special energy barrier that shields him from Spirit Damage. The Shield lasts for 12 seconds. More kinetic energy stored in his Inertia Reservoir - the bigger the spirit damage shield he gets.
[ABILITY 2] Ordnance Strike
Passive: PRIME/8 weapon leaves ordnance marks on enemies.
Upon reaching 5 marks on an enemy, PRIME/8 automatically launches a homing rocket from his backpack that follows his crosshair in real time. Upon exploding, deals spirit damage.
[ABILITY 3] Primal Leap
PRIME/8 leaps vertically. if PRIME/8 comes in contact with any in-air enemy - PRIME/8 will grab him and smash him to the ground.
[ABILITY 4] Grav Beacon
PRIME/8 throws an experimental gravity beacon, causing any enemies in the area to experience increased gravitational pull towards the earth (jumping is shorter inside the AoE) and silences movement abilities as long as they are in the beacon AoE.
The beacon lasts for 12 seconds and can be destroyed by enemies.
I've designed a lot of heroes during the last few months, and I feel like this is my best idea so far. Lacking on the lore a little bit tho. What do you guys think?

Active: PRIME/8 converts the stored kinetic energy into a special energy barrier that shields him from Spirit Damage. The Shield lasts for 12 seconds. More kinetic energy stored in his Inertia Reservoir - the bigger the spirit damage shield he gets.
LVL 5 UPGRADE: The shield can now be applied to allies. This includes your grav beacon!
Directly hitting an enemy deals bonus damage.
The blast could bounce enemies vertically.
PRIME/8 takes full self damage from this ability, but in return can also use it to bounce himself.
[ABILITY 3] Primal Leap
PRIME/8 leaps vertically. if PRIME/8 comes in contact with any in-air enemy - PRIME/8 will grab him and smash him to the ground.
(The idea is to grab flying enemies and smash them towards the ground.)
(Wall jumping whilst using this ability can be used to extend the airtime).
LVL 2/5 UPGRADE: In addition, after 3 seconds, the beacon detonates in the area, immediately de-flighting any flying enemies and pulling them towards the ground.
The area around the beacon should be more or less the size of Seven's ult.
