Since I am a big fan of Blood Blockade Battlefront, DEADMAN WONDERLAND, and KILL LA KILL, the ability to manipulate blood has always been something I enjoy.

Additionally, I personally feel that the story background of DEADLOCK shares many similarities with the anime Blood Blockade Battlefront, which is why I originally wanted to design a vampire-style character whose abilities would revolve around manipulating blood.

However, because of DEADLOCK is a TPS game, the act of shooting does not quite fit the traditional image of a vampire. Therefore, I adjusted the character theme to that of a doctor who uses blood sorcery, wielding a handgun that shoots syringes to perform a variety of blood-related manipulations. The structural design of the pistol is similar to that of a nail gun, except that the magazine of the nail gun is replaced with a row of syringes.

>>This character is tentatively named Dr. BLOODLIC.

>>Here are Dr. BLOODLIC's ability descriptions:

[Basic Attack]
Dr. BLOODLIC uses his pistol to fire empty 'vampirism syringes' that stay in enemies and continuously absorb their blood. However, this process does not damage the target. Each enemy can have up to five syringes attached, with each additional syringe increasing the maximum blood absorption. If the enemy is not damaged by Dr. BLOODLIC within a certain period, the syringes will fall off, and the enemy's "debuff duration reduction" attribute will accelerate this process.

[Ability 1] - Syringe Retrieve
Retrieve all visible 'vampirism syringes' within a certain radius around himself, causing spirit damage based on the amount of blood stored in the syringes and recovering his health by a certain percentage. The maximum blood capacity of each syringe is influenced by spirit power.
Enhancement 1: Retrieving syringes causes enemy kills to instantly refresh the ability.
Enhancement 2: Syringes stay longer in the enemy.
Enhancement 3: There's a chance that syringes will remain in the enemy after triggering abilities 1 and 4.

[Ability 2] - Syringe Dart (Costs Blood to Use)
Dr. BLOODLIC launches 8 syringes filled with his poison blood in a fan shape with both hands, 4 from each. Enemies hit directly by the syringes are affected by Dr. BLOODLIC's blood, suffering spirit damage and entering a spirit damage vulnerable and slowed state.
Enhancement 1: Power charging can narrow or spread the dispersal angle of the syringe darts; charging will slow movement.
Enhancement 2: Syringes that do not hit enemies directly will explode upon contact with any surface, causing bleeding damage to enemies in a small area.
Enhancement 3: Eliminates the slowdown caused by charging.

[Ability 3] - Bloody Beacon (Costs Blood to Use)
Dr. BLOODLIC places a destructible beacon syringe filled with his mystic blood at his location, which will disappear after a certain period. During its presence, Dr. BLOODLIC can reactivate the ability to teleport back to the beacon's location.
Enhancement 1: Increases the beacon's duration.
Enhancement 2: Restores the blood spent on beacon when returning to the Bloody Beacon.
Enhancement 3: The beacon syringe is no longer placed directly but is shot from the handgun and sticks to any surface it contacts (including enemies and allies).

[Ability 4] - Blood Fuseshot (Costs Blood to Use)
Dr. BLOODLIC connects his pistol directly to his arm, channels a significant amount of his blood, and fires a blood bullet. The blood bullet explodes upon hitting the target or any surface, causing spirit damage. Additionally, the explosion causes any 'vampirism syringes' on enemies within the blast radius to explode, dealing spirit damage equal to the stored blood.
Enhancement 1: Additional charge.
Enhancement 2: Increases the maximum amount of blood cost during channeling, providing extra explosion range and damage for the Blood Fuseshot.
Enhancement 3: Syringes exploded by the Blood Fuseshot will cause other syringes on nearby enemies to explode as well. The chain effect does not trigger repeatedly.
