[Hero Idea] [Concept Art] Paloma the Harpy (Reddit asked me to post on the forums)

Last month I participated in The Rookies art competition and was inspired to create some characters that could share the same universe as Deadlock. This is my most popular character, a Harpy named Paloma. I posted her on r/Deadlock and was urged to submit her design to the forums as a hero suggestion. I'd love it if she could serve as inspiration for future characters to be added to the game, so here are my rough ideas for how she could be implemented (ALSO FEEL FREE TO SUGGEST AS WELL!!!):

Playstyle: As a lash and shiv main, I love hit and run tactics, and feel like being a harpy that playstyle would suit her well. Additionally, I tried to design her kit so she can either specialize into supportive CC, or becoming a high burst damage pick character.

Weapon: Paloma can fire short bursts of 3 feathers at a time from her wings. These feathers could be high damage with low velocity and short falloff.

Abilities:
  1. Raptor Grab: Paloma lunges in the direction you are looking, grabbing at most one target in her talons. If the target is grabbed into a surface they take damage, similar to Abrams' shoulder charge.
    1. T1 upgrade: targets are disarmed for 2 seconds after being grabbed.
    2. T2 upgrade: damage scales with the velocity of your grab. (similar to how lash ground strike amplifies damage with fall distance)
    3. T3 upgrade: Dealing damage with Raptor Strike takes Soar off of cooldown.
  2. Soar: Paloma takes flight (similar to Ivy ult, but faster and much shorter in duration), you are able to gain momentum by activating a “glide” mode, letting you accelerate like a diving bird of prey.
    1. T1 upgrade: Cooldown reduction
    2. T2 upgrade: Duration extension (maybe 4 seconds -> 6 seconds)
    3. T3 upgrade: Maneuverability buff, or passive resist during flight.
  3. Gust: Paloma flaps her wings, sending an expanding blast of air in the direction she is facing that applies a fading slow to enemies. This blast does no damage.
    1. T1 upgrade: +1 charge
    2. T2 upgrade: Enemies are pushed back by the gust and the slow duration is extended
    3. T3 upgrade: Projectile size and velocity increased.
  4. Whirlwind (Ultimate): Paloma creates a spiraling vortex of wind that moves away from her slowly. It draws enemies towards it (if their move speed is not fast enough they will certainly get pulled in) and when they enter they are stunned and sent airborne.
    1. T1 upgrade: cooldown reduction
    2. T2 upgrade: flying through the whirlwind amplifies Paloma’s velocity by 2x
    3. T3 upgrade: Whirlwind can be accelerated and redirected with Paloma's Gust.
 
Flight is a strong & universal power fantasy - Well done identifying resonance. Except that certain civilian observers probably prefer the thought of flying gliders by wire to occur as infrequently as possible => Only fake physics flies around here & for that this poor pigeon is cursed. RIP
