Commando
Short Bio:
Before the Great War, young Commando was an ordinary cinema projector operator at local movie theatre. Common seances were full of cheap and poorly directed alien movies. But he likes it a lot.
Being enlisted, he is quickly proved himself as talented fighter, using tricks he had learned from his favorite alien movies. During the Battle of Two Forts, now as a squad leader, he leads his comrades to the victory being an example of courage and bravery. But as soon as battle ended, he is mysteriously disappeared before powder clouds and dust has cleared. And then his fate became unknown to his comrades, as nobody ever found him or his body. As he was presumed dead, he was posthumously awarded the Medal of Medals.
Then, after more than 20 years he is suddenly returned out of nowhere, as battle-scarred veteran, but haven’t aged a bit, trying to warn everyone about unknown Alien threat he was fought of all these years. Nobody listen though, who would believe in aliens? And now his skills, experience and talents serve for a more important purpose.
Likes movies with aliens, talks a lot about aliens.
Primary weapon reference: Lewis Gun
Side note. Lewis gun is originally cooled by air, but would be fun to replace air cooling jacket with water (similar to Maxim Gun), so Commando have to ‘refuel’ his gun with cold water from his private canteen due to barrel overheat instead of reloading drum mag.
Hero playstyle: Aggressive / Damage dealer / First line combat support.
Abilities:
This character was originally designed for Team Fortress 2, but his concept has been scrapped early in production. So, give this man a second chance?
Original character design by: Chuck Jones, Moby Franke
