Fresco

Armed with a magic paintbrush that can materialize physical objects from simple paint sketches, the artist known as "Fresco" dreams of creating the greatest masterpiece New York has ever seen.​



Your paintbrush fires in a cycle of swishes, two light horizontal swishes into a heavy overhead swing. The whole cycle takes 1.25s to complete all 3 attacks, coming out to ~48 DPS.

The horizontal swings
deal 20 base damage and take 0.25s to come out each. Fires paint in a short horizontal crescent arc (like Yamato gun)
The heavy swing deals 40 base damage and takes 0.75s to come out. Fires paint in a vertical line.




1. Brushstroke​


Draw a shape on your screen to use as a projectile. After a shape has been drawn, casting the ability will fire a fast-moving paint projectile matching the shape drawn, dealing damage.

The shape's size is limited by a paint resource, which refills to full every time you change the shape. Change the stored shape by casting the ability with Alt-Cast. Alt-casting will not put the ability on cooldown. You may alt-cast to change the stored shape even while the ability is on cooldown.

By default, the spell will deal spirit damage on hit. However, certain shapes have special effects when used.
Available special shapes:
X shape or + shape =
Deals additional light melee damage.
Bomb shape = Explodes in 5m radius on hit.
Lightning symbol = Dispel enemy buffs on hit.
3 horizontal lines = Blows enemies backwards on hit.
Infinity Symbol = On hero hit, Instantly reloads and gives 50% bonus ammo for the next clip.
Circle shape = On hero hit, heal for 20% of the damage dealt.
Square shape = On hero hit, gain a 150 health barrier for 4s.
Triangle shape = On hero hit, victims will take 15% bonus damage from the next spell that hits them in the next 4s.

Multiple shapes can be drawn together. In this case, each shape will apply their distinct effects on hit.



1 AP: +30% Bonus Paint.
2 AP: -5s Cooldown
5 AP: Enable ability charges. 8s Cooldown between charges.

2. Artist's Block

Summon a giant block of marble from the ground that pushes enemies away. When the block is hit by a special shape projectile from Brushstroke, the block will transform into a sculpture of that shape and explode after a delay, applying the shape effect to every enemy in the radius. Positive effects are instead applied to all allies in the radius.

The block is physical terrain and can be walked on & used for wall jumps.


1 AP: +5m Explosion Radius
2 AP: -15s Cooldown
5 AP: Amplify special shape effects by 3x on explosion.

3. Brush It Off​

Coat an ally with a protective layer of paint that blocks the next enemy spell that hits them. Alt-Cast to apply to self.

Blocking a multi-hitting channeled spell (Dynamo ult, Bebop ult) only blocks the first tick (like Counterspell)

1 AP: +4 M/s Move Speed while Protected
2 AP: +200 Heal on Spell Counter. Scales with Spirit Power (0.5x)
5 AP: Painted ally explodes in 7.5m radius on Spell Counter, applying Brushstroke's special shape effect.

4. Still Life​

Swing your paintbrush outwards in an arc, creating an imperfect statue of any enemy heroes hit in their place. The statue inherits the maximum health of the hero it is made from. A percentage of damage dealt to the statue is dealt to the corresponding enemy hero as spirit damage.

Attacking statues will count as "hero hits" and triggers the bonus effects of Brushstroke.
Counts as "damage over time" and will not knock enemies off the zipline.
Flavor thing: All heroes will have custom statue models when getting hit by this ability.



1 AP: -20s Cooldown
2 AP: +4s Statue Duration
5 AP: All negative effects applied to statues are additionally inflicted upon the associated enemy hero.

Also thought of that, because in shooter its kind of should be easier to do such character properly than in regular MOBA.
Also I think for alt fire u actually should be given ability to draw any shape of attack for as long as u want until u have ammo

Do you mean changing your bullet spread? That could be cool too but obviously would require some "paint" limit like the 1st ability.

Not sure,it would be like,Yamato bombs where its rather making attack AOE but in this case its just makes it one big bullet,maybe even bigger damage,to some considerably fair,even small amount
