Hero Concept: Yet another turtle man

Hero Concept

Primary Weapon:
A powerful slingshot that fires large but slower-velocity projectiles.

Ability 1: Throws his entire bag of rocks at enemies in a scatter shot, reducing their resistance to bullet damage and healing effects, but using all of your remaining ammo.

Ability 2: Hides in his shell, clearing all debuffs and healing for each debuff removed, and then popping out with a small AOE snap. If a teammate is nearby, he can pull them into his shell for protection and split the debuff and healing effects with them.

Passive: A percentage of bullets hitting his back are reflected back to their source. The more damage he absorbs through his shell, the stronger his slingshot becomes.

Ultimate: Dives into his shell, maintaining momentum in a straight line throughout the ult. The shell bounces off obstacles, stunning enemies in its path. The stun duration increases with each enemy hit in succession.

Melee: Instead of punching, he snaps at enemies like a true snapping turtle.

Lore: He wears turtleneck sweaters, so he can't be all that uncivilized.

I like the slow slingshot idea but the 2 is literally Mo and Krill's burrow and his ult is a worse version of Viscous'. Also his 1 could probably just be an alt fire if it uses ammo just like Shiv's

We already have a large variety of heros that share the same types of skills, but the effects are different.

Like sniper girl and grandma Indian. They both have a fly, they both have an AOE control, they both have powerful damage burst. Same same but different.

Plus I don't think the specifics of the abilities matter, that needs to change based on balancing. Instead the focus on hero concepts should be unique mechanics that are missing.

The unique mechanic here is a character that can't be shot in the back, becomes more powerful as you shoot him in the wrong spot, and a character that can directly counter debuffs.
