A FATE'S TALE:​

Occult. Dangerous. Dependable.

Previously thought to have been snuffed out by the friends of humanity, the few surviving witches have been hiding in the shadows, biding their time and preparing for the day that their covens resurface and retake the control and power they once had. One such coven has their gaze pointed towards the Cursed Apple.

Ever unseen, a secretive network of witches simply known as the New Coven manufacture and distribute wares for the trade of forbidden and outlawed magical objects in the now occult New York. Potions, poppets, ritual chalk, contracts with otherworldly beings, you name it, they have it, as long as you're willing to pay for it.

As the Cursed Apple stirs with the rise of the patrons, the New Coven’s leader Wicce, seeks to finally bring her branch of witch society out of the moonlight.

TRICKSY, MAP CONTROL, WITCHERY


Wicce (Wick), the leader of The New Coven is a versatile ally and a fearsome foe. She emerges from the shadows with The Coven Heeds, catching her foes off guard before tagging them with Fan of Needles, catching them in their tracks. Enemies who require a little extra to deal with are her specialty too. With Tools of the Trade she expertly wields hexes, curses and other tricks at her disposal. Once her enemies are thoroughly tagged and hexed, she finishes them off with a nasty Blood Curse to seal their fate.

Design: WIP. Something like Hecate (Hades 2) crossed with contemporary New York urban aesthetics, with a leaning towards organized crime/mafia. Wiccan symbols and accessories.

"Bones and needles, my darling."


Throw a fan of razor sharp bone needles, dealing Spirit damage to enemies in a wide arc. Enemies hit at close range take bonus damage and are Slowed

Cooldown: 18s

Damage: 60 (x1.6 Spirit)
Bonus damage: +50%
Slow: 35% for 4 seconds.
Arc: 50 degrees.

Upgrades:

1 Ability Point: -8s cooldown

2 Ability Point: Pierces enemies at close range and Slow increased to 50%.

5 Ability Point: Enemies hit at close range are Taglocked for 10 seconds, causing them to suffer 50% increased damage from your items and Tools of the Trade.

"It is not wise to try and hide from a witch."


Passive: Leave
behind a witch shadow that remains stationary in a location. The first witch shadow is created at your location when you unlock this ability.
Active: After channeling in place for 2 seconds, swap places with your witch shadow, regardless of distance.

Cooldown: 40 seconds

Upgrades:

1 Ability Point: Passing by your witch shadow grants +4 m/s Sprint speed for 4 seconds. (Cooldown 10 seconds)

2 Ability Point: After swapping, gain a 200 health Barrier for 4 seconds.

5 Ability Point: +1 witch shadows. Swapping now requires targeting a witch shadow on the map.

"Hexed!"


Passive: When you use an item's activated effect, reduce the cooldown of your other items' activated effects by -3s. Items that target an enemy deal an additional burst of spirit damage to them.

Damage: 70 (x1.5 Spirit)

Upgrades:

1 Ability Point: +50% item range.

2 Ability Point: +25% item duration.

5 Ability Point: Items with activated effects have -20% cooldown.

"SUFFER!"


Passive: Dealing damage to enemy Heroes builds up to a mark. Marks last 20 seconds.
Active: Inflict a horrific curse on all marked enemies, dealing damage and inflicting Cursed for 2 seconds.

Cooldown: 180 seconds

Build-up:
Bullets: 10% (20% for headshots)
Fan of Needles: 30% (60% for close range hit)
Tools of the Trade Spirit damage: 60%

Damage: 150 (x2.0 Spirit)

Upgrades:

1 Ability Point: -60s cooldown.

2 Ability Point: Inflicts targets with -12% Spirit and Bullet Resist for 4 seconds.

5 Ability Point: +0.3s duration per target hit.
