Hero Concept- The Dockman

A ghostly fisherman sporting a withered beat-up yellow raincoat with a long white beard.

Lore:
The Dockman was an average fisherman off of the east coast trying to make ends meet. He was living paycheck-to-paycheck trying to work his way off of the docks to a more comfortable life. On the day of the maelstrom his ship set sail on another routine fishing trip. The storm hit and massive dark waves began crashing against the boat. he looked around at the members of his ship getting thrown overboard into the now murky black water. He can't remember much except a tsunami sized wave coming over the deck and crashing into him. He awoke to the night sky, all of his crewmates gone, the ship intact. A faint glow came from a storage closet in the lower decks. Upon opening it was a small ghostly child. He was shocked but reached his hand out toward it. The child grabbed his hand. In the blink of an eye, he found himself at the bottom of the ocean, the ship next to him wrecked on the sea floor. he caught a glimpse of himself in a piece of sea glass. He was a man no more...

In one hand is his primary weapon: Harpoon gun
-fused with his ghostly arm
-small mag size
-slow projectile speed
-high damage scaling
- (reloads using his beard)

in his other hand is the main source of his abilities: Fishing Rod
-made out of the wreckage of his ship

Ability 1: Catch of the Day
-Throws his lure onto a targeted position on the ground
-lure will stay there for 10 seconds or until recasted
-when recasted he will reel in the lure casing a ghost fish to bite upwards and slow the hit enemy.

Ability 2: Reel em' in
-throws his hook attached to the rod as a medium projectile
-upon hitting a player, it will apply a slow bleed and can be recast to pull him to the target
-upon hitting a wall he can recast to pull himself to the hook's position

Ability 3: Cast a Wide Net
-Harpoon gets replaced with a net that can be fired
-upon hitting an enemy, silences and heavily slows
-the enemy in the net can spam jump to get out quicker

Ability 4: What Lies Below
-The Dockman channels before transforming into a kraken esc monster that is stationary
-Primary fire gets replaced with a slowing tentacle slash with large range
-any enemy hit by 3 tentacles cannot leave a certain area around him until the duration ends

This is my first try creating a character concept so please let me know if you think there are any changes that could make him better or even if you want to do concept art for it!
