From childhood, Stella has always been enchanted with the night's sky. After completing her astronomy degree at Columbia she took a job at the Hayden Planetarium so that she could share her love of the stars with the next generation of bright minds. Her quick wits and winsome enthusiasm quickly got her noticed, and after a few years she found herself director of the whole planetarium.
Everything was wonderful until the rifts opened. When they did, wonderment at the cosmos gave way to the mysticism of the rifts in the imagination of Manhattan's youth. Hayden Planetarium became a ghost-town literally overnight. Years later, despite Stella's best efforts, the planetarium's finances are on its legs. Now Stella needs an investor. Or a miracle.
Weapon:
Stella fires beams of stellar light from her focusing lens. The weapon fires in rapid bursts of five hitscan shots, but cannot deal critical damage. Inspired by Ying's weapon from Paladins. Maximum range of 50m with short range damage fall off.
Abilities:
1) Solar Flare | 18 s. Cooldown | 50m Range | 4m Radius | 6 s. Duration
Stella fires an orb that moves quickly towards a target point, dealing damage to nearby enemies. When the the orb arrives at its target point it redirects towards Stella's position, following her for the remainder of its duration. When the orb expires it explodes, displacing and damaging nearby enemies.
Recast Solar Flare to cause it to detonate early.
T1: Targets hit by the detonation receive 1 stack of Star-Crossed.
T2: +1m Radius and +1s Duration.
T3: Solar Flare is no longer destroyed when manually detonated.
2) Shooting Star | 20 s. Cooldown | 15m Range | Charged Ability with 2 Charges and 7 s. between Charge use.
Stella zips forward as an immaterial ball of light. Enemies in her path take Spirit damage and receive one stack of Star-Crossed.
Alternative Fire to increase damage and range by 50%, at the cost of an additional charge.
T1: +1 Charge
T2: -6 s. Cooldown.
T3: Enemies damaged by Shooting Star are slowed and hitting an enemy reduces the time between charges by 3 seconds.
3) Star-Crossed | Passive/Active
Passive: When you land all five shots of a burst against an enemy, they receive 1 stack of Star-Crossed. Max 4 stacks. 6s. Duration.
Star-Crossed: You take 20% increased damage from Stella's abilities.
Active: After a 1 second charge up time, fire a powerful shot of energy dealing damage and consuming all stacks of Star-Crossed on the target. 12s. Cooldown | 50m Range
T1: You gain +1% ability cooldown reduction for each stack of Star-Crossed applied to an enemy hero.
T2: +2 second duration and Stella heals for each stack of Star-Crossed consumed.
T3: +3 Max stacks.
4) Star's Align | Ultimate | 90 s. Cooldown | 100m Range | Beam radius ~= silence wave.
Charge a powerful blast of energy that penetrates time and space, piercing enemies and geometry in a line.
T1: -25 s. Cooldown.
T2: +150 damage.
T3: This ability gains 50% more benefit from Star-Crossed

Imagined flow:
Throw your flare at the enemies, when it rebounds to you zip through them bringing it back over them and stacking stacks, manage your zip charges so you can eventually zip out and make them step into the light of your ultimate.
Zip through enemies and back playstyle inspired by Storm Spirit from Dota, ultimate shamelessly borrowed from Jenos in Paladins.
