Hero Concept: Revenant the lost soldier

(setting the mood)

Lore:
A near faceless puppet with only a nose and a yellow glowing eye
on the right side and a charred gun "wound" hole on the other.
This puppets body has the color of dark oak wood, with a soul imbued into it.
Wearing an American ww2 paratrooper uniform, this soldier
died during the war and later had his soul unwillingly brought back and imbued into this wooden puppet.
In a fit of frenzy and shellshock this poor soul still thinks he is in the war and sees haunting images
manifesting around him, hindering any rest, sleep or critical thought. The only wish he has is to escape from
the hell that is war, but this cursed body will not allow him to die. After years of roaming at night and
trying to stay away from people from the fear of dying, he somehow eventually ended up in New York.
Was it his own will? Was it some other being whispering sweet promises in his deluded frenzy?
Who knows, certainly not him. But he is hoping that this might be a ticket to escape this hell.

Primary attack:
M1 Garand with a bayonet. Has high damage and a small clip size of 8 with a medium reload speed.
Secondary attack: Press to zoom in. If you crouch while zooming the zoom will become stronger, but it will
make you move 70% slower.

Melee: Normal melee is slightly weaker then average.
Heavy melee is slightly stronger then average.

Ability 1: Scavenging..
30 sec CD
1 meter range.

Active:
Revenant scavenges a "corpse" consuming it.
When its consumed you take 10% hp damage and gain 3 Clips* of enhanced bullets.

The bullet buff result depends on what color the "corpse" had. they will have a slightly glowing aura
on them signifying the result.

Blue: Adds X flat weapon damage and a debuff that triggers if you hit 6 shots on
the same target within 10 seconds. Debuff is a 0.5 second stun.

Green: Hitting enemies will give you a stacking % health healing buff over time.
every heal instance is separate and is 1%HP per stack. lasts 5 seconds.

Red: Your shots do splash damage, and the more you shoot on the same target the bigger
the next splash will be. the main target you are shooting will not be damaged by this splash.
the splash is 40% (scales with spirit) of your weapon damage.

1 meter (scales with spirit) radius per stack on the target. resets when reloading.

Purple: adds 5+X amount of your spirit as flat weapon damage. ( making these the hyper late game powerhouse rounds)

When Revenant has a buff he himself will get an aura that matches the color so the enemy can see what he has.


(* These 3 clips means that you can reload up to 3 times before losing the buff)

Talents:
1:
Gain 1+ clip.
2: Can sacrifice 20% more hp to scavenge the previous buff you had on any corpse. (press m3)
5: Killing an enemy refunds 1 clip.

|| Desperately he scavenges his fallen allies so he can fight another day ||

Ability 2: Take cover!

50 sec CD
20 meter radius.
15 sec duration.

Active:
Revenant Manifests cover for himself and his allies at set spots*
depending on where you are at the map within the abilities radius.
While close too these covers you gain 20% fire rate and 40% reload speed,
allies gain half of these bonuses.

These buffs linger for 1 sec after moving 1.5 meters away from the cover.


(*see pic related as an example of how it would look, these covers would look like they are made out of spirit magic. the devs would have to set the cover themselves all over the map manually, so there would
be no randomness. you cannot walk trough these covers. )

Talents:
1:
Gain 5+ regen behind cover.
2:Gain 10% more fire rate and 20% more reload speed.
5:Gain 20+ Regen and 20% bullet resistance behind cover.

Ability 3: Last resort..

30 sec cd.
3 sec duration.

Active:
Revenant screams and starts charging at the enemy with his bayonet. connecting with the enemy results in pinning them, letting you drag them with you.
If you hit a wall while doing this they will be stunned for 1 second and lose 1/3rd* of their stamina bars.

Deal X spirit damage (scales with spirit) upon wall collision.
The charge gives you a 30% move speed buff while charging and a slightly slower turn rate**.
Once pinned onto the wall you can also choose to unload*** your entire clip into them for an extra effect depending
on the ammo buff you acquired from Scavenge. to do this you press the fire button within 1 second after pinning
them into the wall.

Blue: Increases the stun by 1 second.

Green: heal yourself for 20% of your hp.

Red: explode and push enemies 5 meters (scales with spirit) away from you.

Purple: Does bonus X Spirit damage (scales with spirit)



(* this is for late game when people get stamina items)
(** somewhat similar to Abrams charge turn rate)
(*** this will cost you 1 clip from your buff and does not do an entire clips worth of weapon damage, only the buff effect.)

Talents:
1:
1.5 sec charge duration
2: 15% more speed.
5: Landing a killing blow resets the CD.

|| He doesn't want to go out there and risk his life, but when push comes to shove he needs to give it his all ||


Ability 4: It never ends...
Passive.


"Corpses"
of fallen soldiers that only you can see will spawn somewhat randomly around the map. these do not
show up on the minimap but make a faint Ominous sound when you are close. they spawn all over the map and only "respawn" if
used. once respawning the "corpse" location will change. The "corpses" are way less frequent on the enemies side of the map but
there will always be a "corpse" waiting in your spawn. Every "corpse" on the map including the one in your spawn has a 120 sec respawn timer.

On death your soul gets sent out and is undetectable and unkillable, while in this state you can run around
and look for "corpses" to take over. when you do this your real body will start crawling towards
the "corpse" at 5m/s (scales with move speed and Spirit)
After 3 seconds of crawling the body will also take advantage of sprint, shooting the body will stop the sprinting.
your body while crawling is unkillable and once it reaches the "corpse" it will revive you on the spot and consume the corpse you used.

While re animating you spawn with 50% health and cant be damaged for 1 second after fully re animating.

Re animating has no cooldown.

(this is the only way for Revenant to respawn)

Talents:
1:
2m/s+ corpse crawl speed
2: start at 60% hp
5: On spawn get a 20% speed boost for 10 seconds.

|| No matter how many times he dies, it always feels like his first one. the fear never ends ||
