Dear Valve Team,
My name is Shian Elias and I live in The Netherlands. I go by the name Shiancore. I just want to appreciete all of you're hard work at Valve. I know that Valve is a feedback heavy company that is full of creativity. I like how Deadlock, other Valve games, Steam and Steam Hardware is all about iteration and that's amazing! I'm baffled that so many company aren't that feedback focused.
I have been playing Deadlock since 2024 and I love it. At that time I saw so much potential in this game when I first played Deadlock and yet a year and a half later since playing (1240 total hours in game as a Eternus player) I still see so much potential in Deadlock, it is unbelievable. I like all of Valve games, although I like some games more than others (I have never played Dota though as Deadlock is my first MOBA). I just want to say that Deadlock has a special place in my heart. It feels like a culmination of all prior Valve games in to a single game. Deadlock has honestly since 2024, as I saw the vision in the game, quickly become one of- if not my favorite game of all time. Deadlock has been there at my darkest of times and I have been playing Deadlock in it's darkest of times (Solo que this entire time aswell with 0 friends) and I don't think I will stop playing this game...Thank you all at The Valve Team!
The actual Hero Idea Concept:
As I was scrolling through social media, seeing a lot more posts about Deadlock and Deadlock gaining more attention. I saw that there were some political discourse happening (it's still going on as I speak) and I thought to myself: ''Why doesn't Deadlock have a Politican Hero?''.
A politician hero would fit the game setting and lore really well as this game is set in a Occult/Dark New York, in 1949. There are many organisations in this game and many political drama happening in this game lore. So a political hero or like a corrupt political hero/puppeteer hero would really fit in my opnion. Now I don't know what the abilities will be for this hero but the overall design would be a standerd professional suit that stands out like a real political figure in our world with something like stripes and a purple/darb blue or even like a brown colorerd suit. As for the weapon of the hero, I think a pistol with a silencer that has a 'not so bad fire rate' as I want this hero to be played in diverse playstyles like going full gun with high fire rate, hybrid or more spirit oriented. Lastly as for the name, I thought of Karastan Khall simply because it feels good to say the name out loud and it stands out. This character could also have a lot of connection of a lot of things in the setting and lore of the game because of all of it.

Edit: One of my favorite pieces of media is a anime called Hunter x Hunter and a character in this anime is also a inspiration that came into mind aswell. This character is called Pariston Hill and is one of my personal favorite characters in the anime, one of the reasons why is because he has a lot of mystique behind his character and I just wanted to let you all know that. I have a fanart linked to see what I mean in terms of looks of the character. I think What makes Deadlock stand out obviously is the characters and how they come out as real characters with real human emotion, so yeah wanted to get that out aswell. Thank you for reading!
