A Fate's Tale
Abby Neuman's first love was found on the silver screen at the age of 18 after her friends took her to see Dark Sea Rising. Abby instantly fell for the lead actor, Claude Stewart. Abby tried her hardest to get to Claude through any means necessary, attending his meet & greets, his red carpet walks, even setting up a small spot on the edge of his large estate to watch him late at night. Abby was so close yet so far, until one day she spotted him in the middle of the big city. He was walking in the middle of the intersection when Abby called his name. He stopped, turned, and the two of them made eye contact. This was it. Fate had brought them together. Abby opened her mouth to try to start a conversation.
In the blink of an eye, Claude was hit by oncoming traffic. Abby's mouth hung open as she saw the grisly scene. No matter, Abby always planned for the worst to happen. using her knowledge of the occult she studied,(just incase her plan went sideways) Abby got on her wedding dress, plucked the bronze charity statue of Claude from it's spot and made her way to the Cursed Apple. If she couldn't bring him back to life, She'd settle for a bronze lookalike of him that acted, smelt, and talked like him instead. All she had to do was ask the patrons to give him consciousness.
Design & personality: Abby is a pale woman with eyebags under her eyes and short, black hair. She is also wearing a white wedding dress and veil with the bronze statue of Claude Stewart tied onto her back with rose vines. Dark Sea Rising's arena is a modified ship at sea in the middle of a rainstorm with debris scattered to function as cover and platforms.
Personality wise, Abby is a fairly upbeat, normal, functioning member of society, ignoring her obsession of course. She treats her actions as completely normal and justified; and is genuinely confused when questioned/criticized for it. She does get angry when someone insults her favorite actor or his movies.
Gameplay:
An obsessed fan, Abby draws from her favorite movies to annihilate anyone who stand between her and her soon to be animate husband. From the box office sensation Love and Thorns Abby can deal splash damage to hurt groups of enemies. Just like in the award winning Lead Her On, Abby can throw her large bronze statue to deal damage and close the gap between her and her target. Taking a note from the critically panned Time of Passion Abby can repeat her moves to become a tricky and unpredictable threat. And to end the third act, Abby borrows moves from her favorite Claude Stewart movie, Dark Sea Rising and trap her opponents to deal with them herself.
Gun: Shotgun Wedding (A pump action Shotgun hidden in bouquet of flowers. She reloads the gun with petal covered shotgun shells, or alternatively plucks the flowers in the bouquet to reveals that they're shotgun shells and loads them)
Ability 1: Love & Thorns: throw a large rose at enemies that travels in an arc. The rose will detonate within a few seconds of being thrown.
Tier 1- +Damage
Tier 2- +1 charge
Tier 3- Enemies hit by Love & Thorns take increased damage for a few seconds
Ability 2: Lead Her On: Throw your statue and after a short delay, get dragged to where it lands. Everyone hit by the statue in the landing radius takes spirit damage, and extra spirit damage if they are hit directly by it
Tier 1- Less cooldown
Tier 2- The statue can be thrown further
Tier 3- Opponents are stunned briefly when hit
Ability 3: Time of Passion (Passive)- Upon activating an ability, Time of Passion begins for 5 seconds. Time of Passion leaves a marker where you activated your ability. If activated, will teleport you back to where you first activated your ability and activate it again with bonus spirit damage applied.
Tier 1- Time of Passion holding time increased by 5 seconds
Tier 2: Fully recharge on kill
Tier 3- 100% Damage increase on rewound ability
Ability 4: Dark Sea Rising- Target a hero on the other team and, upon activation, send you and the targeted hero to an off map arena for 14 seconds. If you kill the enemy, you gain a small buff (equivalent to a golden statue buff) and are fully healed.
(Small detail) Upon activation, strips of film reels surround Abby and the targeted hero to take them away.
Tier 1-Extra cast range
Tier 2-Buffs are permanent
Tier 3-Fully recharge Ult on killing the enemy hero
(I purposely left numbers and timers ambiguous, they can be changed a bit)
I'm willing to answer any questions about her or her kit. Her general design philosophy is meant to be a character who gets up close and picks fights with characters, and is an overall engager.
