Lore:

From humble beginnings at the Bear Pit, to the Professional circuit, Manny Asterion is a Minotaur who has recently become a Six-time World Champion in Boxing's Heavyweight division. Following the footsteps of his father, the late boxing legend, Taurus Asterion, Manny has had an illustrious career, with millions of loyal fans at his side, whether he's in the ring or outside of it.

But things have not been well in his personal life as of late - A costly divorce and family turmoil, the latter being essentially from his younger brother, Anthony, who couldn't keep himself out of trouble.

Now recently, Anthony had been charged for something far more serious: selling and distributing illegal artifacts of dangerous power in the run-down, suburban parts of New York.

Manny, knowing his brother is innocent and that he'd never be part of something like this, but knowing that he can't bail him out this time, not without paying an enormous amount of money for it, now resolves to find a way to help out his brother and keep him out of Jail, but also to straighten him out once they're both in the clear.



Playstyle:

Manny's superb strength and skill as a boxer make him a dangerous melee combatant; getting up close and personal to deliver some of the most devastating punches known to man, and if he finds a stranded enemy, he can challenge them to one-on-one boxing matches.

love the design and the minotaur but wouldn't that look very similar to billy to a bipedal goat head.
 
Love the idea of a boxer hero that does actual combos, the game needs one, but if he is meant to be a brawler, then he'd cover the same niche as Billy, like the other guy said. So how about adding this to his 1 to make him more of a tank that plays slightly different?

1: Peek-a-Boo: Cooldown 15s
Raise your guard for 5, Increasing your resistances and slowing you down by 30%. Blocked attacks fill up a meter that enhances your outgoing damage. After its duration ends, perform a cross punch, dealing heavy melee damage and a fading slow. Can be pressed again to end sooner.

Maybe, but he's larger than Billy in size. A real beefy boi(no pun intended, btw)!

Alterations made to the 1st ability function, as suggested by TF2refugee and also fixed the description on the 3rd ability.

At first I thought of going with bullet resist and spirit resist for blocking, but I decided on % Damage Reduction instead. Also, not sure if CDR is even needed for this, but I have it as a T1 upgrade.

I would like to note that I made up the melee scalings on the abilities on the fly, I have no idea how melee scaling actually works in the game. I'm more familiar with Spirit Scaling, so Melee scaling is rather uncharted territory for me.
 
Slightly altered artwork. Gave Manny some Tattoos, added some more hair(or fur) on his forearms and above his hooves and made his horns a little bigger.

I've meant to add tattoos on him for the original art, but completely forgot to add them while I was drawing the art, so here, I fixed that error by giving him some tribal tattoos.

I like the idea of having a duel ultimate, and the hero concept in general. However, this is the type of hero that in my opinion should never have a dash or even dash adjacent ability (leave it as a weakness that he needs to fill with items/movement.) Having some kind of stance ability or even a passive would be much preferable to make the hero have an easy skill floor similar to abrams would be cool. Just my 2 cents!

The reason why I have a dash in there is just so that he could close the distance between himself and his target, as his primary initiation tool(I mean, even Abrams and Billy have mobility skills like this).

But maybe you're right about having a weakness of sorts, so I could probably remove the dash and it'll be just an uppercut that stuns people.

Also, I do kinda see the point in having a stance or a passive, but I don't know how to implement either of them in ways that would make sense for the kit itself.
