Jack the Impalement Artist.

Appearance: Thin and unassuming. Disheveled long jet black hair and a tilted large brim hat covering his left eye. Long performers coat/cloak, open and exposing his white button up and black vest with rough leather belt holding multiple knives wrapped around his waist.

Rough Story Outline:
Jack is a well renowned circus performer, specializing in throwing knives. As a young boy Jack lost his left eye learning to juggle knives with his father. A traveling mystic, that had been passing through, swayed Jack's father with tales of restoring his sons sight and gave him a prosthetic eye with a distinct purple hue and an intricate design. Unwilling to take money for the trinket, the traveler called it a gift, packed up shop, and left. No one remembered the mystic or would ever believe where Jack's father got the eye. Not only did the prosthetic work, a lost eye wouldn't stop Jack and only grew his determination to learn from his father. Soon after, his father's age would seemingly catch up to him. A deep dissociation overtook him, and Jack worked to take over his performance. Jack would learn to hide his disfigurement from the public, donning his iconic tilted hat. Ever since losing his eye Jack has been haunted by nightmares and restless nights. Unaware of the power given to him by the mystic's eye Jack grows to be one of the most talented members of his troupe and a household name. That power came at a cost, though, as when Jack is asleep the eye awakens.
The Eye - Enveloping Jack in a black mist-like cloak, the Eye takes over Jack's mind and body. It seeks innocent souls and feeds on them to sustain its power and give Jack his sight and talents, leaving the victim a soulless husk. Once it feeds it gives Jack back his own body and soul. Jack wakes not realizing the horror he carries with him and the true cost of his talent. As Jack travels from city to city, no one ever suspects the unassuming, sometimes cavalier, Jack a threat to anyone but himself.
Despair and misfortune seem to follow Jack everywhere he travels, yet he personally seems to be immune. Tales of curses and strange happenings echo around him. None accuse, let alone suspect, him of any wrong doing yet he can't quite explain the uneasiness in his stomach. Unaware of the presence inside his eye and believing himself to be cursed he seeks the Patron's aid to solve the riddle of this misfortune.

Stamina: 3 stamina (see 4th ability.)

M1: Throw knives. One knife in each hand. Only 4 rounds then faster reload. Limited range.
M2: Overhand throw two knives with increased range but extended throwing animation.

1st Ability: Trick Shot. Reduced to single charge at base. Focuses and throws knife. When the knife hits an enemy or surface it ricochets, seeking a headshot on nearest enemy Player past the initial target. First hit has regular M1 damage, but ricochet hit procs headshot items and has a stacking bleed dot that has max stacks. Levels add extended seek range on ricochet hit and T3 adds a small interrupt.
Augmented - gains an extra charge and levels apply a spirit shred when ult is on cd.

2nd Ability: Flourish. Back flip away, throwing a fan of knives that slow enemies hit. Levels add distance of dash and fills a charge of 1st ability when enemies are hit.
Augmented - Roots enemies hit when ult is on cd

3rd Ability: Hidden Pockets. Passive refreshes, but doesn't stack, bleed from 1st ability on M1 attacks. Activate to give bonus ammo, fire rate, and reduced range for a duration. Levels extend range, T3 allows M1 attacks to stack bleed.
Augmented - Increased Fire rate and removes range debuff. Levels add unlimited ammo instead of bonus ammo when ult is on cd

4th Ability: The Eye Awakens. When the ability is unleveled or is available to cast Jack loses a stamina bar. Can not cast within 5 seconds of taking Player damage or within 20 meters of an Player. Activating the ability causes Jack to lose consciousness and mist leaks out of the Eye and envelopes him. He regains his stamina bar and changes his other abilities and appearance. When he gets a kill the mist consumes the enemy and retreats back to the eye. Jack awakens unaware of what transpired but feeling invigorated from his nap. While this ability is on cooldown Jack has full stamina and his other abilities are augmented. Levels Increase the cooldown and allow each Player kill in ult to give permanent stacking weapon damage.

The Eye:
M1: Melee knife slashes that build the stacking bleed from his Normal 1st ability.
M2: Throws a knife.

1st Ability: AoE Attack. Spins and hits targets in small area around the Eye. Melee damage. Consumes all bleed stacks on targets to heal you for an amount per stack. Levels allow heal to add max health when overhealing.

2nd Ability: Into Shadows. Dashes low disappearing into shadows. Invulnerable while dashing. Invisible at the end of dash. Levels give duration and unstoppable on coming out of invisibility.

3rd Ability: Hunger. The eye reaches out to suck the soul out of a target creating a low damage over time tether. Levels add move speed increase towards tethered target and steals spirit power per second.

Thoughts:
-Was thinking about giving the Ult a timer where if you don't get a kill within the timer you revert back to Jack without his Augmented abilities, but that feels like unnecessary hampering. Maybe this would work if assists counted instead of just kills. Idk.
-Also was thinking of a line of sight check on using his ult but that seems too convoluted in-game just for the sake of keeping to the lore.
-Unsure on stacking buff from ult. You can only get 1 kill with the Eye, so it shouldn't be overpowered, but I would want Move Speed as it's permanent buff.
-Intentionally trying to keep a Jack the Ripper theme while keeping the character motif of no one, not even him, knowing that he's been the serial killer the whole time. In lore and in gameplay.
-Idea is a roaming mid range single target duelist that is hampered by his need to assassinate with his ult to augment his base form.
-1st ability allowing for skill expression as you must miss the target to do full damage, kinda sorta similar to Ms. Fortune in League.
-Cooldown timer giving a buff similar to Victor ult gives him windows of power that he has to take advantage of to succeed.
-Unable to get a kill leaves the Eye in control, but also getting a kill putting it on cooldown creates a situation where he cant clean up extended team fights in his Eye form, fitting him into a more single target assassin role.
-The idea is to reduce the feeling of snowballing, like with say pre-nerf Shiv/Silver or Akali from League.
-His father's soul taken by the Eye. Thinking Jack knows this but is subconsciously hiding the truth from himself and is trying to find any other answer as a means of coping. Puts on cavalier attitude as a way of hiding the inner turmoil from the world.
