Hexx, or just cultist
I went into this with the barebones concept of a cultist and honestly the idea has so much potential im genuinely suprised that there's no direct cultist character in the game at all yet
I had several ideas
Stealth melee burst damage, obj focused that scales the more pawns and obj they kill (Thought it wouldnt translate to street brawl well), summoner focused on building up imps to do menial labor or soak up damage, or finally the main idea I didnt go with, a character who's kit and playstyle change depending on what patron you are working for and what team ur on. For example hight dps or stealth on hidden king, and tank focused on archmother (I had an issue thinking someone might want to play him for one playstyle from him and if they fail to get the team they want itd encourge dcing, so I didnt build with that idea. I think theres potential there and some kinda fix, but I dont know it feels too risky)
I went with a buffer focused on self damage and fixed healing, as well as soaking up damage
His Primary fire: Tentacle Lash
It would be a fast low damage barage of tentacles summoned from various portals around him. Reload animation would probably range from a quick sigil drawn in the air, or a simple fist clench (Grabbing some sort of energy from the air or ley lines)
It's model would show his hand holidng a knife in the stats menu and be called "Her Gift"
It's ammo capacity and damage would scale with spirit power
His 1: Totem Call (active and passive)
He would throw down a totem onto the floor with a medium range, allows charges, starts with only 1, the totem itself having a small ish amount of health, with a base bullet and spirit resist of 20%, and scaling with boons. Any allies within the radius would recieve healing in the form of beams shot from the totem every 1 second, every dispensed totem will all draw equal ammounts, and the drawing will not stack (So toss out as many as u can), drawing from the martyrdom pool to a max amount per burst being 10 percent of the martyrdom pool unless it falls under 100 in which case it will burst one final time before remaining still and catatonic until more martyrdom is acquired.
The beams can also (Provided one is within the area) harm enemies equal to the healing done in the form of spirit damage.
Upon the totem dying, it will explode dealing spirit damage
Passive: When damaged, a percentage of the damage will be taken and increase your "Martyrdom" Martyrdom will then be used to distribute either health or health or damage respectively to the targets of each that the totem chooses to attack
I had no preferences for the upgrades past raw stat bonuses for the abiliy, shorter cooldowns, more damage/heals, extra charge probably, and id imagine the final would provide bullet or spirit resist to all in the aoe

2 ability: Martyr's Vigil
I couldnt properly draw this one but its what he's doing in the top art
He cuts his palm and rips blood to the floor, buffing himself or an ally.
He inflicts direct weapon damage to himself, and buffing a target (after new martyrdom stack is applied) with a health shield, and a fire rate/move speed buff, scaling in power the more martyrdom is present, with a base of 100 health barrier (Scaling with spirit power), and a 2 m move speed. This ability uses a max of 30 martyrdom stacks, and can increase each by up to 2% per stack
Upgrades to this ability would include raw increases to stats and cooldowns, increasing each stack to a max of 2.5% affectiveness, or giving a brief clense/unstoppable to the one given the vigil
Dialogue: "I bleed for her-"

3 ability: Blood Rift
Inflict instant weapon damage on yourself and teleport a distance forward scaling with move speed, dealing a burst of spirit damage to those in a short vicinity around you. has charges, starting at 1. the teleport would not go through walls (ofc)
Upgrades would include things such as cd decreeses, increases of charges, lowering of self inflicted weapon damage, or perhaps a move speed debuff applied to those inflicted with the spirit damage aoe.
Dialogue: "Y-YOU-YOU ACTUALLY THOUGHT YOU HAD ME!? HAHAHAHA!"

Desperation: "G-GO AWAY!"

Alternate 3 ability: Disabling Cleave
Carve your palm and target an enemy, marking them with a slowly increasing knife behind them with an audio cue, before dealing spirit damage to them and increasing your stacks of martyrdom proptional to if the damage was inflicted upon you, and applying a movement slow as well
Upgrades would increase raw base damage, applying extra debuffs or more movement slow, as well as finally being cast dealing the affect in an aoe

Desperation: "STOP JUS- SHUT UP SHUT UP!"

4 ability: MOTHER'S GIFT
Mothers gift: Peel back your hood and flesh to show them the glory of the old ones, she comes for them, and you are here to point the fingers to the closet they hide in.
Create a large aoe around yourself and function as a totem with increased potency and treated as if you have max martyrdom. Any allies within will gain increased healing and fire rate buffs, as well as any enemies taking spirit damage equal to the amount of healing doone.
In this state, you will take continuous damage, equal to the amount you are healing allies.
Desperation: "N-NO YOU CANT HAVE ME- ONLY SHE MAY!!"
"HAHAHAHAAH!"

Upgrade: "I will show them her-"

LORE:
So for basic character, hes an insane petty moron, typically cursing people who have annoyed him or done him wrong with the most random bs.
He past that is an insane and crazed man, willing to do anything for his goddess who he usually just calls Her, or She. She herself is something outside of what humans can imagine and when he uses her gifts it's a fingerprint left on a cup in comparison to what her real power is.
