Hello Deadlock community, this is my 2 month long effort to create a canine hero that's not just another fox or wolf. I could not have got this far without help from the community and I want to thank them all for putting up with my constant needs for art and move criticism. I never could have completed this alone and just want to thank them all.
I will be posting a few more full renders of the hero artwork and weapons below here, then after I will write all the text from the spec sheet under everything so things can be quoted simply.

Hero Concept: Chase
Job: Tracker
-A FATES TALE
Chase once lived under a different name in the
Swiss Alps. A staunch supporter of the Friends
of Humanity, he often voiced his disgust and
contempt for the supernatural. Though some
of his peers shared his views, resentment grew
as he climbed their ranks. In secret, they devised
a plan to ensure their permanent removal.
At the Basler Fasnacht celebration their plan
was set into motion. They had brought with
them the mask of a St. Bernard that had been
imbued with a powerful curse to ensnare its
wearer. As the festivities began, masks were
distributed, and all eyes fell on him as he placed
his on. The moment it touched his face, a bright
light flashed, and he collapsed. The mask fused
with his flesh as his former comrades seized him.
Dragging him to a ravine, they cast him over its
edge, leaving him for dead in the darkness below.
Chase was not dead however as he awoke hours
later. His fur covered body had prevented him
from freezing to death. Injured but determined,
he limped away, knowing he could never return
for fear of being found in this state. Adopting the
name Chase, he stowed away on a ship bound for
New York City, desperate to start anew. Hardships
and sorrow lay ahead, but so too did lessons in
humility and acceptance. Haunted by the weight
of his past, Chase vowed to make amends.

ABILITIES
1. Fetch -
Pull a sticky ball from your mouth and throw it quickly at
surfaces or heros. Press (1) again to cause a Spirit explosion.
Gain +1.3% Spirit damage for each enemy hurt and +3.5%
Spirit damage for each enemy killed within 12.0s of damage.
Upgrades -
(1) +100 Damage, (2) -8s Cooldown, (5) Enemy is Silenced and +3m Radius
2. Barrel Roll -
Roll the neck barrel forward, leaving a trail of liquid that
restores health to you and allies upon contact once per use.
Enemies who touch the liquid become disarmed. If the barrel
hits an enemy, it deals light melee damage and stuns them,
which stops the barrel from continuing further.
Upgrades -
(1) +5s Trail Lifetime, (2) -20s Cooldown, (5) +250 Heal and now scales with spirit power.
3. Scents -
Follow your nose tracking others through their scent trails
including those invisible. Enemy trails will appear red and
allies appear as blue. While following a trail, gain increased
movement slightly above your prey's speed. Always active.
Upgrades -
(1) Trail Fadetime+20, (2) See enemy aura thru objects or structures within 20m distance, (5) Following a trail for 5s gives you +50% weapon damage and it remains active until you exit the trail for 5s
4. Alpine Horn -
Summon a spirit Alpine Horn and play a short tune. Once
the song finishes you and allies within your radius receive a
temporary shield granting 65% bullet resist, spirit resist,
melee resist and heath regen for a short duration.
Upgrades -
(1) +10m radius, (2) +25 Health Regen and now scales with spirit power, (5) -60s Cooldown

Thanks for checking out my hero idea spending the time reading through it all. I tried very hard to ensure all their clothing and items were from the 50's or earlier to keep with Deadlocks theme. Hopefully the ideas can be useful to the deadlock devs, I would love to see a canine hero finally added into the game for everyone to enjoy, so please consider Chase the Tracker.
