Haze ult crash (amd cpu and gpu)

Hello valve team (if you guys are reading this) I know this has been posted before but I am experiencing it as well and I see no feedback that is even remotely helpful. I am not sure if its an AMD driver issue, a vulcan issue or just the game (or some combination). I have a beefy pc (CPU AMD 5900x 12 core 24thread, 32gigs ram, GPU RX 6900xt) so I really don't think its a hardware issue unless its a driver issue between amd and vulcan.

When I ult around multiple enemies, the game will freeze and crash with no error message. Once I did get a vulcan error something like " unable to create page...something"

I am on the latest GPU drivers.

Its clearly a hit calculation overflow issue (not sure the best way to word it, basically too many hit calculations too fast the game has to do clientside) because ulting around creeps or a single enemy causes no issues even when I have multiple on hit proc items like toxic bullets, ricochet, etc.

I will switch to dx11 and see if that fixes the issue and report but yeah if you guys can take a look at this bug it has been a problem for months now.

Thank you

Haze ult is quite lag and crash prone. Never had it crash, but i've had it freeze and slow my frames to a crawl a lot sometimes. This has been happening ever since they added cosmetic bullet tracers to her ult, so it's been around for a while.

ISSUE PARTIALLY RESOLVED:

So switching from Vulkan to DX11 in the settings definitely improved the issue significantly. I would recommend people do that if they have the issue like me. Its not perfect, it still stutters for a few frames and it is very noticeable but after about a second the game seems to catch up and doesn't crash.

YMMV.

It looks like its a Vulkan issue with the game. Devs if you are checking these messages hope that helps.
