The bullet dance was beautiful, but unfortunately, for people who just come to play and don’t even understand the mechanics, it was too overpowered (though that’s kind of funny). Now it’s gone. In short, since Haze is a mist and she uses dreams, give her a mist-based ultimate. Ultimate: Haze throws a smoke grenade, or simply emits smoke with a cool animation in an area about 20–25 meters around her. Allies in the smoke gain increased bullet speed or damage, or bullet evasion, or all of the above—your choice (I’m just suggesting options). Enemies in the smoke, after a certain amount of time (which depends on the skill’s power, similar to Dagger’s Sleep), fall asleep. The smoke doesn’t have an instant animation but is fast enough to wait for in the heat of battle; given her invisibility, she can sneak into the thick of the fight to do this. Additionally, after waking up, if enemies have taken damage and are in the smoke, they are prevented from using abilities or stamina, a restriction that lasts as long as they remain in the smoke. With an ultimate upgrade, you could add bleeding or periodic damage based on a percentage of HP, for example.
If the target emerges from the smoke after spending a few seconds inside it, they’ll be slowed, and this effect will last for a couple of seconds after the enemy has left. Of course, the Lightning Scroll would be a great item for this. The radius and duration (as well as the damage) increase with magical power. And if you’re wondering how to implement this in a third-person game? Just switch everyone, without exception—including Haze—to first-person view when they’re in the smoke. Visibility in the smoke won’t be zero—it’ll be around 5 meters—but it’ll be better for allies. Haze, on the other hand, will see everyone in the smoke as if through an X-ray or something like that. Share your thoughts; I’d love to hear your feedback.
