Gunless hero with soul orb manipulation

Initially, I would think of Shiv's daggers as a way to give a full melee character range to pop souls, but this idea is better.

Instead of using projectiles to secure/deny souls why not just make the souls themselves a source of damage? Something like pulling them and throwing at an enemy to claim them or marking troopers with some skill that makes the souls interactable with other abilities. Into this also fits the Bounty Hunter's passive from Dota, Jinada, that with cooldown steals money on hit, which could be turned into several interactable souls appearing out of the opponent.

I don't know how handle enemy's interaction with this hero however. Would it be annoying to play against?
 
What if for first ability character would have way to damage anything at,lets say,close range,but will have increased efficiency against troopers and jungle creeps
Like u need to walk in close range and while u suck soul u are immobile,but u restore health while sucking and burst of little healing at the end/when kill(maybe after upgrade) and killed creep won't leave soul orb and instead it will like,fill your gun bar.
And then u can shoot hitscan laser out of your face or in any other way,and on right click u can charge for high risk high reward burst of gun damage(because u waste more energy on charging)
