GSync no longer working since updates the last 1-2 weeks

GSync has completely stopped working for me in Deadlock. I've tried all the usual fixes, setup steps etc, made sure all my drivers across the board are up to date. Nothing makes it work anymore.

Anyone else have this issue? Any solutions?

Just as an update in case anyone else comes looking for help, someone in the Deadlock Discord gave me these links to solutions, which I had mostly tried already with no resolution to my problem:

However this time I not only turned off my Discord overlay, I also made sure the legacy overlay was turned off and it seemingly has fixed my problem. I will update if that doesn't stay fixed, so if you see no further replies from me, assume this helped solve the problem and the solution has held true over time.

It broke again despite keeping Discord overlays off. Not sure why this is happening. Just thought I'd add that update.

Further update. I came across something that said apps with overlays cause a problem. While I'd already turned off Discord's overlays and Nvidia's overlays without success, it mentioned the app f.lux, which reduces blue light emission from your monitor. I have a similar app called Iris, and when I paused that app, lo and behold, GSync suddenly started to work again.

So for others that are troubleshooting this problem, try turning apps with overlays off or pause them. I will describe my experience with them below.

• Iris - Must pause it for GSync to work
• Discord Overlay - GSync seems to work even if it’s on.
• NVidia Overlay - GSync seems to work even if it’s on.
• f.lux - I don't know as I don't use this anymore. I use Iris instead.

Alright was wondering why my G-sync in game kept saying disabled and wouldn't work properly. Pretty much G-sync won't work with borderless mode in this game idk why but thats the case.
