Golden Rooster Egg, a Streetbrawl version of the Golden Goose Egg

Hatch the egg, allowing you to select a random item

The value of the item increases the longer you hold on to it

The item cannot be used within 5s of combat. After 1 round, you have a choice of a 6400 or 3200 soul item. After 2 rounds, available items can be enhanced. After 3 rounds, items can be enhanced and/or legendary.

Enhanced version gives you the 2 round bonus after 1 round, and 3 round bonus after 2 rounds.

Like the Goose equivalent, it is meant to be an investment. The item selection screen can be the same as the pre-round one, with the ability to reroll once.

hardly a new item, basically just a streetbrawl converted goose egg. the precedence for sb-only items is already set with legendaries and kind of enhanced items

Why not... apply it on the base deadlock game? Increase random tier item every 7 minutes, shorten by 2 minute for every kill? You can sell the random item, and get the souls to increment your boon thingy + half to buy another item instead. T1 won't be in the pool, it goes from blank, to random T2, to random T3, to random T4. You should be able to see what the item could become, asking yourself if you want to pop it and reap. To manipulate odds, you can buy items to prevent it rolling into a duplicate.

Get some early powerful purchases if you manage to be steam rolling, and it rewards people the most if they can build around the random item.
