Give Drifter an aim button gimmick like Shiv's or Yamato's

Drifter likes to get up close and personal, and "work with his hands", so it would make sense to swap his aim for an alt fire kind of gimmick, like Yamato or Shiv's(pressing the aim button on shiv shoots multiple bullets with less speed and accuracy) or something akin to silver’s wolf form slashing would be great. No melee effects, slightly less damage, but MUCH faster firing speed leading to overall more damage up close.

I've thought about this too, aim on Drifter is even more useless because his bullets have a relatively short fall-off distance.


A melee-esque fast firing effect might be good, but you'd run into ammo problems pretty quickly. My thought is that instead of it being fast firing shots, it would be a horizontal swipe that comes out slowly but does the damage of 3 bullets (also expending 3 ammo). It would promote fast engagement jumping in and out of firefights, jumpscaring people, but not as great for sustained damage as his M1.

Because Drifter surely needs more power in close range ?
